We had our annual furnace and air conditioner services done yesterday. During the visit, we asked the technician to consider the option of moving our furnace and air conditioner that we purchased from Brennan about 6 years ago to accommodate an upcoming renovation. The drive behind it was to replace all the duct work so as better serve the home but ultimately help our home heat and cool better (when they installed the new furnace, they connected to the original 1950 ductwork - drafty, leaky and in some places, disconnected.)... read more

Scheduled a service call to replace our filters. No one came. And then when I called they said it was up to us to replace the filters or there was a service fee plus fee for the filters. We are seniors and this is difficult for us. I did call about air conditioning and that ended up being a visit within a week. So if you want to buy something they show up, but if you need help, forget it.

After many years of good service, I had a problem with a young man who came to service my heat pump without a mask. I called and left a message since he left but never heard back from the company. The young man called and returned with an apology and to tell me how great he usually is (the ignorant confidence of the very young!).

We had a system installed through Costco and neither Costco or Brennan Heating are fixing the thousands of dollars of damages that were caused to my home by Brennan Heating installers. If you have had issues please report them to the Attorney General (www.atg.wa.gov) and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (www.consumerfinance.gov). They can take action if they receive multiple complaints. Even reporting to the Better Business Bureau is beneficial so other consumers are warned.

The single worst customer experience we've ever had. We moved into a new home in the fall and the furnace starting kicking off within a few weeks, in the middle of a cold snap. We called Brennan as they installed the unit. $362.23, 3 technicians, 3 months and dozens of unanswered calls and voicemails later, we've got a new filter we didn't need and a furnace that still doesn't work. Purchased air conditioner & new furnace through Costco in 2018. Brennan installed both units. The furnace stopped working because water was coming back into the unit and rusted the pressure valve. This was caused from the venting not installed properly ( by Brennan), which allowed moisture to come back into the unit. I called Brennan and was told they would charge $180 to come out and look at the furnace. Four years and eight months after installation of a Bryant / Carrier furnace and heat pump HVAC system at a cost of $11,585.10 the heat pump failed on 11/22/2021. The aluminum heat pump coil had developed a non-repairable leak. The part was covered by a five-year warranty but the labor and refrigerant were not. Don't bother with this company. They don't respond, make promise after promise and leave you hanging in limbo. Apparently they don't need any business. I waited 3 months to get a new furnace and air system quote, which was the norm this winter, but wanted to get ahead of the spring rush. I tried to do business with them and they made it clear they don't need it or want it. TL;DR: Brennan installed a water heater, my basement was flooded ($7000 damage) and the installation was full of deficiencies that will cost $7500 to fix. Brennan has not responded in any way to my phone calls and emails over the past 2 months. Bottom line is I paid $8250 and ended up with a $15,000 bill on top of that. Read on for the details.
