This is one of the worst companies with many customers. They will act very nice when they are getting into the contract with you. After the work is done and you have a problem, they shift the blame to someone else. In my case, they blamed the county inspector for catching the bad work performed during my furnace installation. My attic flooded twice because of the lousy job I had done. The installation cost was high, but I went with them because Lennox recommended them since I was installing the Lennox furnace and AC unit.... read more

Brennan installed a good Carrier furnace in our home and installed it completely wrong. The venting and return installation was done poorly and it was not sealed correctly which we could not have known. Behind the scene, dirt and moisture were getting in and corrosion began. Under 5 years later, we are getting a new furnace from a competent and reliable company. We were shown all of the details of the faulty installation by Brennan. Adding it over here as well the review I wrote for other one.] Adjectives to describe Brennan - dishonest, sloppy work, not trustful, car sales person sales techniques. If you are looking for AC/Heating work done, I highly recommend that you look some where else. Brennan is NOT the place. They are dishonest. You will waste your time and they will do a bad job. We bought our HVAC system through Costco and at that time Costco used Brennan heating as their partner. We had problems with our AC spitting ice chips out the first summer we used it. Despite several service calls (which cost around $200 a service) their team couldn't find anything wrong with our system. Finally a technician detected their was a leak and mentioned it would cost us around $2,000 to fix. I would steer clear from Brennan Heating & Air Conditioning. I purchased an a/c install package from Costco and the system was installed but never tested. The next day the heat goes out (my home is a new home with a new furnace), after they fixed the heat issue (which took muiltple attempts). The a/c would not turn on. They sent a novice tech who blew out a transformer in the attic, still no working a/c. horrible service. When asking for help with warranty information about a unit no longer working and STILL under warranty I was transferred to another extension where I was prompted to leave a message. MADDENING!
I've never had a problem with Brennan Heating & Air with servicing my heat pump, but when my thermostat went out a couple of weeks ago the experience was far below minimum standards. An initial visit was scheduled and then the technician never came. When I called to inquire why, I found out he was told not to come that day. I had taken time off work and asked if a discount could be given. I asked twice about this and both times was denied. Brennan installed our heat pump, through Costco, many years ago. We have always used them for maintenance. Last year, May 2022, the tech that came out to service the unit told me about a Maintenance Membership. You prepay for the annual maintenance and are on a "priority scheduling", get 10% off any additional services. I did that. May 16, 2023 our daughter calls us and says the heat pump is not cooling the house. It was 75 outside, the house was 74. I called Brennan to get someone out to our home.
