We started in August trying to get hold of someone. Finally we did a week or so later. Took weeks to come out and diagnose problem. Can't be fixed now. In meant-time guy sweating bullets and has nerve to complain about heat. Really? Another guy comes out weeks later. Unfortunately they are missing the boat on initial customer service by not returning phone calls. They are the ones who put our boiler in. Our boiler didn't seem to be working so we called on Tuesday and left our name and number for a call back. No call back. Left another two messages on Wednesday and no call back. Left a message on Thursday with some guy and no call back (he had quit) that day. Finally we found their location in Lynnwood and drove out there. The worst company I have ever worked with. The tech came out to my house for an appointment I scheduled over a month ago for maintenance and within 15 minutes of being at my home told me the motor on my furnace went out. This was working 100% fine before the tech came out. Lucky me also the part is not in stock or under warranty the extended warranty was not entered into the system. IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING GETTIGN A HEAT PUMP THROUGH COSTCO IN THE SEATTLE AREA THINK AGAIN ABOUT THE COMPANY THAT SERVES AS THEIR VENDOR. Contracted with Brennan for a new heat pump and furnace through an arrangement with Costco. I ordered the heat pump in May and was told it would take until August for them to have the unit to install due to supply chain issues. Booked an installation for August 10. When I set up an appointment to have our A/C serviced, I was not asked the brand of the A/C, the age or what type of coolant it uses. This is from their website: "You may worry that your specific air conditioning unit is older or unfamiliar to today's technicians. Our technicians have pretty much seen it all and will work hard to repair your cooling unit or find the next best AC repair solution." NOT! Costco was allowing Brennan Heating and air conditioning to sell units through them so I thought I was working with a reputable company. Boy was I wrong. After a couple of years of my very expensive unit working only sporadically, Brennan finally sent out a more senior technician who knew what he was doing and diagnosing the problem he told me that the unit never worked because it was improperly installed and they had to completely reinstall it. Installed HVAC system last year with this company! Cost me 10k plus!!! The system quit same day after they all gone, when I give a test! Have to call them and get them back to get it fixed. The guy did some magic, it back oneline. Used AC 5 times since then! It quit with same problem this year on the hottest day! Warranty appointment scheduled a week later!!?! And I have never written one of these about another contractor, however on this case, I will, since it screwed my project site and the customer timeline, due to there truly unprofessional manner. I have had an overall horrible experience with Brennan. The office staff are totally unresponsive, either through calling and leaving voicemail, or calling into their answering service (they claim to be open on Saturdays, but they only have an answering service... and claim they will call you back first thing on Monday... but it is Thursday evening and still no call).
