If I can give them 0 star I would customer service is good but the price is not. They gave me a quote on getting my dog spayed it's double the price! And I got some heart worm preventions and tick preventions from them too it's so over priced I looked at the bill when I got home and checked the meds online there was a big differences I would not recommend this place unless you have a lot of money to waste
Business response:
Hi Jessie, Thanks so much for your feedback. It's true that online retailers are often able to sell preventatives and other medications for lower costs than we can. That's because such retailers buy in bulk, meaning that their products are often diverted from the original source to large distributors, thereby losing the manufacturer's guarantee of safety and effectiveness along the way. When you purchase preventatives or other medication from our pharmacy, you're getting products that have their guarantees of authenticity a... read more
I wish i didn't have to write this review it would be a negative Five, These are the most crooked Doctors in this industry, Its all about greed , !st thing they took my cat and performed surgery for cancer. To the tune of five Thousand dollars upon picking up my baby. which was there for seven days, they tell me that she will not be able to walk on her back legs and that the cancer would most likely come back, Two things i thought you would tell be before you did the surgery, Not these idiots , Its all about money with them... read more

We sympathize with you about the difficult experience with your cat, and you have our condolences on your loss. However, we would like to clarify that it could not have happened at our clinic. We do not provide overnight care for our patients, and we do not offer an in-home euthanasia service. We think you may have visited another veterinary practice closer to your home. Again, please accept our sincere condolences for the loss of your cat.
I am extremely unhappy with Brentwood Family Pet Care. First of all, their treatments are extremely overpriced--because they have to use off-site labs. Second of all, the staff is ridiculously disorganized and unprofessional. My puppy tested positive for THREE parasites, yet they only gave me the anti-parasitic for one. THREE WEEKS LATER after I told them that I was concerned about her bloat, they admitted that they forgot to give us a anti-parasitic and then gave it to us. by then the parasites had turned from few to modera... read more
Business response:
We're so sorry to hear that your experience with us was not everything it should have been. There are some very specific reasons for why your puppy's tests were sent to an off-site lab, (like most veterinary clinics, we do not test for several common parasites in-clinic), and for why we prescribed the medications we did, yet were not able from the outset to diagnose your dog's condition, but none of that matters if we were not able to communicate these facts to you in a meaningful way. Please accept our sincere apologies for... read more
This clinic is overpriced and disorganized. The reason it is overpriced is not because of their quality service but because they have to use off-site labs--further proving that they are inadequate. We don't mind paying for quality service but this is ridiculous. They charged us for two x-rays, which they still couldn't diagnose our puppy and proceeded to suggest us with yet another expensive respiratory swab test--which is double the price of other pet clinics. They had forgotten to give us all of anti-parasitics that our pu... read more

It seems another family member has already left feedback, but we're so sorry to hear that your experience with us was not everything it should have been. Not a good vet if you have cats. They always push for sedation with me, despite no other vet having an issue with my animal before. They constantly get the dosages wrong and call me to either correct perscriptions they gave me, or even worse, call me to let me know they administraterd more dangerous sedatives such as fentyl to my cat WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. I even got him back once COVERED IN URINE. No one bothered to tell me, or to even clean him up. Worst vet ever, I've bee here 3 times paid over $400 dollars for a "he's fi... read more
Business response:
Hello Etolie, I'm very sorry for the experiences you have had at the vet you wrote about. However, we don't show your name in our database which leads me to believe you may have us confused with another office. Further, we don't carry fentyl or fentanyl and never have. I can certainly understand your frustration. Medication shouldn't always be a go-to and medications or treatment should never be given without your permission. On top of that you should never receive your furry friends back looking (or smelling) worse for wea... read more
The staff here seems nice at first but they are all well trained to give you a guilt trip to make you spend unnecessary things. I finally got fed up with them and brought my pet to a different vet. Spent $350 less and no bs given by the staff. I have been robbed by this vet way too long. I suggest question every single thing they suggest.
Business response:
Katrina, I apologize for the way your visit left you feeling. That is never our intention. We simply want to provide our clients with options for their pet's care. Of course, we present the "gold standard" first, but we know that everyone has a lot of priorities to deal with, so we understand alternatives must be considered. It is not our intention to make anyone feel bad or looked down on if you don't take the Top-of-the-line option, we're just glad you brought your pet in for evaluation. Thank you for letting us know... read more
I'm am very disappointed with the experience I just had here. For starters, I've been coming to this vet for awhile now and have said nothing but positive things about them. It's safe to say I will no longer bring my babies here. I just had a visit with Dr. Weinstein, who without knowing so started to bad mouth the company I work for in regards to pet food. When I in formed him that my place of work was infact one of the locations he was referring to he immediately retracted his prior statement but did not apologize. This ... read more
Business response:
Heather, I'm very sorry your visit didn't live up to your expectations. It is not our intention to bad-mouth any other facilities, especially any a client works at. We do, however, have concerns about some recommendations made when it comes to raw diets. We recommend feeding diets that are Not marked grain-free and Not marked raw because the risk for salmonella is so much less (than raw). Still, we don't want to make anyone feel bad because they choose to feed a raw diet. We do feel compelled to educate pet owners about ... read more
Run! First money is what they care about. Before any tests at all they had a list of drugs for my dog! Including a Proton Pump Inhibitor, most people would know it as Prevacid. This drug is for excess acid production in the stomach. My dog had painful gas episodes, but due to his age, I knew we had to rule out obstructions. The took him back for an x ray and when they spread his legs apart ,hurt him so bad that for three weeks we carried him up the stairs at home, stairs he bounds up and down normally. Then Dr slick comes in... read more
Business response:
Tami, I'm sorry your visit left you feeling like this last May. It sounds like we didn't fully explain the steps we took to get to the bottom of Murphy's trouble. Fortunately, it was not the obstruction you feared. I'm sorry it felt like you spent $2,000 to diagnose him. (In actuality, the total was closer to $620). Perhaps the specialist we referred you to was the higher price tag? The hesitation to OK getting the Science Diet I/D food at a pet food store is that Science Diet's Prescription Diets are only available fr... read more
You should never feel like somewhere only sees a price tag over your pets head and that's exactly how they make you feel here. I switched vets immediately after an unclear diagnosis and them wanting to rack up more and more money only for the new vet to diagnose my pet immediately and have him back on the mend within a week without all of the crazy things they wanted to do. I would steer clear of this establishment.
Business response:
Hello Cinda, I'm very sorry you had that kind of a visit, but I don't think it was Brentwood Family Pet Care. I've looked through our database and I can't find your name or Ramsay's name in it anywhere. If maybe I've spelled Ramsay's name wrong or your visit was under someone else's name I could look into your visit further, because I never want anyone to leave our clinic feeling as you do. Please give me a call if you can shed some light on this for me. Regardless, I hope you and Ramsay have found a veterinary home you... read more
