there is no hygienist on staff currently. she quit 2 weeks ago. my 9am appointment just got cancelled at 6pm the night before. total bullshit. out $50 on a babysitter, didn't leave for spring break because I scheduled this appointment 10 months ago and now I'm "rescheduled" for August.
This place is horrible! My mother was a patient there approx 2 weeks ago. She went in for a tooth extraction. Her appointment was at 1pm and she did not leave the office till after 5 pm. She saw the dentist for approx 16 min and the rest waiting. They told her that is would be $600 as well as she needed a bone graft. She DID NOT need a bone graft and it should have been a simple extraction. She left the office with NO script for a surgeon, NO pain medication for her infection and NO antibiotics. The worst!!! Choose a different dentist and ortho! I paid upfront for ortho for my kids but I wish I hadn't! The absolute worst! When they say patient, they mean they over booked the ortho and dentist so an 8 am appt means 8-11 am. Omg. I should have brought my laptop so I could work while I waited! The worst AGAIN!!!! Again! Receptionist was extremely rude and unhelpful. We were trying to give the most information we had given to us regarding insurance and she did not want to give us any help. Rolled her eyes at us multiple times, and we didn’t even know until the end that we could have paid the initial $59 to be seen until a different receptionist told us that 15 minutes later after we had filed our paperwork and by that time we were done and finding someone else to take my boyfriend.
for routine cleaning, if you can, and maybe simple cavity, fine. otherwise run as fast as you can to somewhere else. Dr Dohar in my opinion recently has become hostile and hates men in my opinion. As a new patient, my first visit experience was horrible! I set up an appointment because of an old crown that’s giving me a toothache and specifically asked to have that looked at! But all they did was take X-ray, a 15 mins talked with the dentist and just to say “I can’t do anything” I recommended you to see a Endodontics! Which also a shit show trying to locate a Endodontics schedule.😡 in this place! SMH
DONT GO HERE, THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU. ONLY ROBBING YOU. Today I went in for a consult because I was having such horrible, intense tooth pain in my back left wisdom tooth. I had similar pain last year with my other wisdom tooth and they were able to remove it and cured my pain, all covered by insurance. RecommendedIf you have 135 minutes to wait than go ahead like mine today 3/28/23 got signed in at this place at 9:49am but got first service at 12:15pm after 2+ Hours keep waiting and waiting. If their lady customer service called me on last Friday 3/24 for my confirmed to come then they should be well prepared for everything including their specialist readiness. Overbilling, rude staff, no follow up or call backs, paper signs taped to the front door requesting payment up front. They try to sell you unnecessary add ons and tell you it is something else.
