very disappointing Customer Service was poor and lack of wi-fi in my room. it's proximity to the Ace Motel.
Disappointing to say the least. The pool was extremely dirty - full of dirt on the bottom, as if it hadn't been cleaned in a while. It was also a very hot day of course, but the water was bathtub temp, not refreshing at all, and being dirty made the whole swimming experience very undesirable. They also let big blow ups in the pool, so there was little room left for people who didn't have them. The pool patio furniture is terrible, old and falling apart. The place needs upgrades & better customer service To start off, the same night all I keep hearing was The smoke alarm kept going off in the middle of the night like it needed batteries replaced. We let the front desk be aware and they said they would fix it, the whole day went by there was no fix. Then we are relaxing in the pool the don’t allow music whatsoever but their music is not the best either. Fair I liked the hot jacuzzi, although the pull is a nice size pull but there was algae in the pool. Not a good appearance. The set up is concept of the location is nice. The only problem is that walls are outdated and old fashioned

Nice old tiki hotel, but the pool needs to be cleaned regularly. Dirtiest pool I've ever seen, black on bottom, walls, no pool cleaning from Friday to Monday. Rooms need updating. large pool with shallow end good for kiddos, bar was great, good food.

Bed bugs Our room had bed bugs. My husband trapped one of the bed bugs in a cup and took it to the receptionist in the office. Our stay was on Sept. 4-5. We were offered to move to room 107. We did and found more bugs. Room 107 was a very ugly room. No carpet, peeling floor paint, and holes in blankets. While we enjoyed the Reef, great drinks and food, we will never stay at this hotel again. Not worth bringing bed bugs home. The Reef restaurant was great. Food and drinks were awesome.
