Terrible stay... The hotel looks nothing like the pictures. When we arrived (an hour after check in) we were told our room was not ready and that housekeeping was behind. We just drove 7+ hours and this was not what we wanted to hear. The front desk took my number and told me they would call me when the room was ready, approx 15 minutes. No one called after 30 minutes so I went back into the lobby and my room was now ready. Thanks for the call. Overall was uncomfortable, See above, Jose in the front was fine however the maintenance cleaner kept staring at my my girl making her very uncomfortable also no hot water 206.00 dollars a night no coffee maker was broke again no hot water,view was great could have been great nothing like a cold shower in the morning thanks at 206.00 a night,
Never Again The bed was uncomfortable, my shower wouldn’t turn off, the maintenance man showed up but never came back to handle the shower, no ice in the ice machine and the bed was very old and uncomfortable. The only thing I liked is the location and the handy bar with relatively decent food.

Clean this place up!! This used to be a fun kitschy clean and updated hotel! It’s absolutely filthy, nothing is in good working order, the curtains are see through, nothing is multi use hotel quality so curtain rods etc are broken. The ceiling fan and A/C were absolutely disgustingly dirty!! Way to promote COVID!! I wish I still owned my home there just so when I visit I wouldn’t get ripped off with hotels that are falling apart! Many issues at Caliente Tropics No hot water night nor morning, unsettling dip in bathroom floor, hard bed, very difficult to reach heating and air and only one thin blanket. This area was never high end, but now it’s inundated with homeless. Should NOT walk at night. The gentleman at front desk was courteous & helpful. He made the trip for me. His name is Jose. The pool looked nice although it didn’t get much above 50 while I was there, so I didn’t swim. Loved the birds in the lobby. Very soothing.
