We came looking for a Bolt 1LT but all they had was the Bolt EUV 2LT. Told them it was out of our budget but they insisted on coming up with a price. It was actually a good price so we agreed. But then the finance manager came over and said that price was too low and that we had to renegotiate. I said we would only pay their original quoted price. I originally gave Capitol Chevrolet a five-star review and am disappointed I feel the need to change it. I found out a month after buying my vehicle that the finance department packed my monthly payments, charging me a higher interest rate than necessary so they could sell me an extended warranty "at no additional cost" that actually was an additional cost. Absolute worse experience of my life. Brought my truck into their service dept, 6 days go by with no progress, out of frustration I go to pick my truck up and it was broken into on their lot / ~$300 worth of stolen items. It’s been months since with no resolution and out of 20+ times contacting them, only two responses. I would never buy a car from them, I would never work with their services department, highly highly recommend avoiding this dealership at all costs.

Both people were short over the phone. No one wants to talk real numbers. Not driving to Austin unless I’m absolutely sure and both calls I had with salespeople made me absolutely sure that they’re not interested in selling a vehicle.

Service was good but lack of loaner was a bad feel. Taking an Uber home doesn’t cut it.

Very poor experience with the used car department. We purchased a used 2019 Volkswagen Atlas from this dealership. From the beginning, this was an extremely frustrating process. My pregnant wife and 2 year old were with me and we had the goal of quickly learning about the particular vehicle we were interested in, so that we could make a purchasing decision. I took in my truck for a Manufacturers Safety recall. My truck had symptoms with the steering system exactly described in the safety recall notification. The dealership called me to tell me that the recall was performed but there was still a lingering problem. They would not tell me what it was until I authorized a 190.00 charge. Alexis is amazing at what she does. She helped me get into a family sized car with being very straight forward! I will say I am very disappointed with the way financing has worked.
