It is expensive. But worth it. They were able to set her medication correctly to settle her down. She is not nasty with anyone. Pleasant personality mostly. She is always very clean. Morning showers seem to keep her looking great. She has her own room and it is extremely clean. Also, almost daily activities. She is not just plopped in front of a TV and left for the day.
It should be noted: •the Food Service just changed and while I don't know that the food improved, the new worker's attitudes did. •Aids are friendly and nice, nurses not always on the ball. But when the supervisor of nurses got involved, the care improved immensely. •apparently the person who planned the activities left and the number of activities dropped off dramatically •For residents with mobility & speech issues, there are fewer things for them to participate in, so if they could at least have meals that are enjoyable, ... read more
There is a monthly dementia education group that is led by the dementia educator as well as a monthly memory café group for the community
I have to say since [name removed] took over it’s like a family feeling again and the staff she brought in is excellent. My husband has been there 5 years and this has been the best year and a half. Everyone here cares now. The nurses are wonderful and the aids. God bless them they have some job [name removed]
They took great care of my mom. The nurses and aides really take the time to get to know each of their assigned residents so they can adequately care for them.
We really liked how smooth all the transitions in and out of the facility were and how much accessibility we had to our loved one through visits in person and updates virtually.
My mom has been provided great care after breaking her hip. The nurses are efficient & caring. I cannot praise the physical therapists any higher than an A plus. If there was a higher mark, they would get it! They’ve helped mom walk again. The food is good & there’s a selection each meal. The management have been helpful with any questions or problems. I would highly recommend them for care.
I visited a few places in the area and this was by far my favorite. The location is easy to get to, the staff is incredibly nice and it smells great! (When you visit other places, you'll understand. Lol) [name removed] is so sweet. She was very patient with us and really worked out a great deal for our family. I can't say enough about this team and this community.
Really enjoyed the tour given by [name removed]. Was able to show me the entire building and was extremely welcoming. The bedrooms were great size and clean! The nursing staff were really nice and comforting.
