We are at peace that we made a good decision that we placed my loved one in a good place. We could have not done better we found a really good community for her to reside in. They have activities at this community like interactive games with the residents, music activities, they bring in pets for the residents to visit with and more for the residents to do to stay busy in the community. We were very nicely greeted at CareOne at Morris, and the tour was very informative. We were really considering them. The facility was nice, and they gave a very nice tour. We ended up not choosing them because of distance/location.
We had a very good tour experience at CareOne at Hamilton. The girl that took care of us and showed us around was very informative. The facility was clean, and everything seemed to be very nice.
We liked Symphony and everything that we saw during our tour, but I do not think they wanted my loved one because they never called us back.

Care One is a great place. The atmosphere and care make this a great place to be at. They are supportive of memory care and able to assist my loved one with medication distribution and bathing when necessary. The staff are good to work with if the family has questions or concerns. Some of the activities include bingo, games, and more for the residents to participate in.
We moved my loved one here from another place where she kept falling and wasn't receiving the care that she was being charged for. So Symphony at Cherry Hill has been a vast improvement. The staff is very friendly. And the facility itself is very good as well.

We toured CareOne and the facility looked dated, it was very expensive, and the location was not the best. Nothing was within walking distance and I thought my loved one who is more independent may feel trapped.
We chose Harmony Village because they specialize in dementia and Alzheimer's care. I am not sure if the staff get properly trained, they seem to be limited in their care for residents who have more moderate to advanced Alzheimer's. If you are in the early stages they have a lot of activities and things like that, but not for those who are further along. When we first went here they were bragging about how they had not had any cases of covid, but with Omicron over two thirds of the residents got sick and most of the staff. If... read more
I would recommend you be ready to make a financial commitment to the community. The staff are pretty good to work with, if I have questions or concerns about my loved one. They didn't understand how a specific phone would work due to the way it had to be set up for my loved one to communicate with the family. This was resolved after a bit of time. Some of the activities available include floral arrangements, painting, chef experiences, crocheting group, and more for the residents to choose from.
