My loved one was previously a resident at CareOne and the overall experience was okay. Based on the experience, I would recommend CareOne at Parsippany Assisted Living to others.
I would say it's been a godsend for everyone. . The staff, activities and facilities are second to none. My dad was fully against assisted living and now he says he was so wrong, this is the best decision he ever made and is so grateful we found CareOne!
The director [name removed] and the Director of Nursing are newer to this facility but they have been with the company for many years. Since their arrival they have made many improvements in all aspects at the facility. They are amazing. They continue to make positive changes. We have had a very good experience placing our good friend [name removed] at care one social workers have given [name removed] guidance and support. [name removed] seems to be acclimating nicely. The support team made [name removed] transition very smooth.
Everything about this place was great from the office staff to the care staff from the time my Mom was placed here until her passing. There are activities that they made sure she participated in. My family was kept up to date with her health status and changes by the facility as well as her doctor. They also provided monthly web classes for us to learn about dementia and how it affects someone. The staff is exceptional. They were beyond accommodating. We had to expedite moving my mother in for a number of reasons. My family wasn't sure if we'd be able to get my mother to go, but the Harmony Village staff took charge welcoming her and made it as easy on my family as possible. My mother has been happy there since she arrived and we believe that the staff is genuinely concerned with her welfare. Overall, it's been a great experience. I would highly recommend Harmony Village at Stanwick Road.
My mom was previously a resident at Harmony Village at CareOne At Hanover Township. I can't say enough about the professionalism, respect and care that the staff provided. The care that the staff provided my mom with was so good! I would recommend this facility to others.
We chose CareOne at Parsippany because my uncle was already in their rehab facility, so the transition was a very easy one! The staff are super attentive, very accommodating and they lent us furniture until we could get my uncle settled. They are also very responsive.
I have to tell you that I was not happy with Care One Jackson in 2023. It seems that the administrator at that time brought down the quality and care of the residents. I brought deficiencies and complaints to that administrator's attention for lack of care for my mother and room cleanliness but unfortunately she did nothing to improve the situation.
