I wish I would have found this community sooner. They truly care about the residents and really understand memory loss and memory care. I would recommend this community to others based on my experience.

The community is unbelievable. My husband is getting excellent care here. If you're comparing it to hotels, it's not like the Plaza Hotel, but more like a Howard Johnson. But that's just he ambiance of the place. The care is what matters.
It's hard to tell sometimes since my loved one with dementia can't communicate to me what she's experiencing. But it seems like a nice place to me. I would definitely tell other families to give it a try. It just depends on the individual person you're placing there, what their wants and needs are. I feel safe and secure with my loved one there. We not only like the personality of the care staff, but as well as the executive team. The directors, sales, marketing and business manager have all been nothing short of outstanding as far as communication. They answer any questions we may have and respond in a timely manner. Also the receptionist who handles all of the scheduling is great. Everyone there knows all of the residents names and their personalities and interests.

Our family had an in person tour and Harmony Village is a very very nice community. We thought the gentlemen who was their sales/marketing guy was very informative and helpful. He knew we were just starting out so he was not pushy at all. He also knew we would be touring other communities, so he gave us a list of questions to ask the other places we were looking at. We thought that was very professional and impressive.
The value for cost was pretty good while our loved one there, we had a sense that she enjoyed her stay. CareOne did right by our family, the administrator was amazing, we loved her. She was very good with our family and other families there. She was always on top of everything, and we really liked how they gave out their personal cell phone numbers in case we ever had an emergency or any concerns. When a fire decimated my elderly clients' home and made them homeless, the executive and wellness director of Care One of Livingston worked diligently to facilitate their admission the very next day. We chose Harmony Village because she was in rehab and they wanted her to continue to get that care. The room sizes at the facility are very good and spacious. Overall it has been a good experience and I would recommend to others looking.
Our parent recently was admitted to care one east brunswick assisted living It was a major change but Nurse Kira is attentive caring loving She keeps us informed. She takes time to listen and is exceptional in every way We are happy
