Job Description: Senior Project Manager (B2B SaaS)
Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex projects in a fast-paced B2B SaaS environment. The ideal candidate will oversee cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects that align with our strategic goals, ensuring quality, timeliness, and efficiency. This role is integral to driving product innovation and enhancing customer satisfaction while contributing to the growth of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management & Execution
- Plan, execute, and deliver multiple high-impact SaaS projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, risk management, and contingency plans.
- Monitor and report project performance using suitable KPIs and project management tools.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Collaborate with product managers, engineering teams, marketing, sales, and customer success to align project goals.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing updates and resolving issues as needed.
- Facilitate effective communication across all levels of the organization to ensure transparency and alignment.
- Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams, translating requirements and expectations effectively.
Risk Management
- Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and objectives.
- Proactively resolve conflicts and obstacles that arise during the project lifecycle. Process Improvement
- Evaluate current project management processes and propose improvements to optimize efficiency.
- Introduce and implement Agile, Scrum, or other methodologies to drive flexibility and innovation.
- Champion a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the project teams.
requirements
Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in project management
- Proven track record of managing complex software development projectsfrom inception to completion.
- Experienced in configuring and deploying Jira workflows and systems.
- Expertise in integrating Jira to other tools to streamline project workflows.
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, or other project management methodologies.
Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Competent in managing end-to-end Jira deployment processes.
- Skilled in configuring and optimizing Canny and other product management platforms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage stakeholders and teams effectively.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to assess project performance and provide actionable insights.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
- PMP, Scrum Master, or similar certification is highly desirable. Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with SaaS product lifecycle, customer onboarding, and enterprise integration processes.
- Understanding of technical concepts like APIs, cloud infrastructure, and product scalability.
- Experience working with distributed teams and global stakeholders.
