I've been taking my dog to one location for most of his life and loved that vet until something changed (management?). I took my dog to Caring Hands last summer out of an emergency- turned out it was hot spots. We've been going here ever since. All of the staff are kind, caring, and so friendly. The doctors are such animal lovers and are so sweet to my dog. Harper, my dog, has been treated for hot spots twice here (spread out) and recently had his annual. I appreciate their responsiveness and professionalism.

I love brining my baby girl Winnie. They are kind and have lots of knowledge. When I have questions they email the doctors and they respond usually within 24 hours. They fit us in often when needed. I love it so much and definitely recommend coming here.

I had to bring my sick dog to Caring Hands because it was an emergency and my usual vet was unavailable at 8am. Dr. Katz made me feel comfortable that my girl would be well taken care of. I was able to bring my dog home after IV fluids were given and her high fever had come down. I was given antibiotics. Dr. Katz called me in the morning to check in and we discussed my dog's continued decline. My dog has always seen Dr. Clendenin who is absolutely wonderful. Yesterday I saw Dr Arkhipova who was just as good. I was so afraid he was going to have to be put to sleep as he was bleeding rectally. She reassured me he could be cured and after she gave him fluid and some other helpful care he is back to normal. I am so happy with this hospital. I drive from Herndon but every mile is worth it.

Amazing care. I recently switched here from another hospital for my dog and cat. For the past few years(I think there was a change of management) we were being treated like money bags without much concern for our dog. My dog is old and in so much pain in his rear legs from arthritis. On our first visit to Caring Hands, the vet(I don't remember her name) was kind, took my concerns seriously, and prescribed a medication. Caring Hands Animal Hospital was recommended to me by a good friend. One of my pets unexpectedly got sick - causing me to bring him in. The initial appointment took two weeks to get into - I think the receptionist wasn't listening too much just because the Dr also didn't know why I was coming in when I did. The appointments after that were very quick to get into with them + informative. They contacted me many times checking up on my pet and had great contact. CHAH in Centreville has been taking care of our three dogs for the past year and a half and I'm always beyond satisfied with the service and treatment we receive. Everyone is so pleasant and compassionate and they truly care for the well-being of your animals and come to "know" them (when I bring one dog in, everyone asks about the others ). I highly recommend this practice as we have been using them for several years for 2 dogs and 4 cats and all received excellent care. Their staff is professional and caring and treat your pet's needs with care and compassion.
