Arrived on time for the estimate with sampled that we had discussed by phone prior to his arrival and promptly giving us a bid that evening by e-mail. Installed laminate floor in recreation room and removed old carpeting and padding. The process went well from start to finish. During the initial consultation I didn't feel pressured and was able to chose the perfect flooring pretty quickly. The installers came out on a Saturday and were polite and professional. The new floor has totally transformed the room and overall I'm very pleased with the results.
I needed an estimate on refinishing my existing hardwood floor, extending the existing hardwood floor into the bedroom hallway and also the formal dining room removing the carpet in the process, and replacing our master bedroom carpet with hardwood. In response to the above report: The first thing I noticed about this customers flooring was severe cupping to the wood. I mentioned to the customer that he must have a moisture issue. He gave no indication that he was aware of any moisture issues. As far as the red oak, when you purchase red oak it comes with a mixture of white oak. I didn't feel it was necessary to tell him about the red oak/white oak percentages when purchasing a site finished wood. Well, here I go again. This time around, we had carpet installed downstairs. Mike worked with me on the installation date, arrived on time and is very professional. We are very happy with the carpet and installation. He isn't a pushy salesperson. He just finds out what you want and works with you in finding the proper product and colors. He was very professional and it was not any sort of high pressure sales - very laid back, which was great. In home consultation. Carpet installation along with removal of the old carpet and padding. I contacted Mike on a Thursday or Friday for an in home consultation. He was here on Monday to show us samples. By that evening or first thing next morning we had a quote in hand. He was running late but did call us to let us know. Had a runner installed on our front stairs. Mike came out during the evening to quote us on a runner and some carpet for our bonus room. He was very professional and very informative on which carpets would work best for each location. I contacted them - told them what I was looking for and made an appointment for a free in-home estimate. Mike came by and within days I had new beautiful kitchen floor .
