They were timely and I did not have any issues. They did a good job.
The crew did a great job of removing the old carpet, installing the new carpet, and cleaning everything up. We choose Berber carpet and the family room had a seam in it - this crew did a much better job mating the pieces than the firm that installed the original carpet.
Tony was extremely helpful in selecting the right carpet for my budget and needs. I'm picky about color and he was patient as I thought through what I wanted. The installers were on time, professional, and did the job well.
I went to Carpet Express based on the experiences described here on Angie's List. Tony was incredibly helpful, asked pertinent questions and was not hesitant in offering recommendations. He prepared an extremely reasonable cost estimate. A few days later - I was in no rush - another gentleman came out to review the job and to validate the estimate. They gave me reasonable delivery times that he met, and his installers showed up on time. When the old carpet was pulled up, an unforseen problem was discovered in the subfloor that delayed final installation. They were totally flexible and came back in a timely manner and finished the job. Ask for Tony - very, very knowledgible and professional. (I think he's off on Sundays) I am very happy!
They did a great job and we were very satisfied. They did cut a security wire but they paid to have it fixed. I can see how that happened, and I do not hold that against them.
The carpet feels lumpy to me, but I have not called them back to have them look at it. Their price was good and their punctuality was good. I am just not sure about the quality of the installation.
I am delighted I selected Carpet and Floor Express. Everything went according to the schedule Tony worked with me.
Very prompt courteous service, did a nice job refinishing. They did almost cut through our alarm which would have been a problem, blue tape notwithstanding. Also put in a slight groove under one door although we didn't intend to put a threshold there and will have to now. Overall, I would recommend, but be explicit about details regarding what you want and don't want to happen around the floors.
