My mother has been a resident at Carter House Care Home since January 2025. From the Initial Assessment, settling her in, and adapting her Care to reflect her changing needs, we could not have asked for better care. The staff are all so kind and cheerful. The Care Home rooms are clean and functional. On 1st glance the decor might seem in need of an update, but look past that and we have found the care to be first rate. Since my sister has resided in Carter House Care Home I and my family have been really pleased in how she has settled in and how professional and caring the staff are. My sister has dementia and it can be difficult at times looking after her but the staff are very patient and kind and look after her very well which is a great comfort to our family.

The team at Carter House provided my father with exceptional care. During his stay, he became healthier, stronger, and more engaged than I've seen in years. The staff are professional, kind, and genuinely attentive to each resident's needs. While he was happy at the home, they supported his move back home seamlessly. I highly recommend Carter House.

Sadly my dad had dementia and doesn't always recognise me but each time I visit the care team are always friendly and courteous. They pop in to see dad and make sure he has all he needs. It means that I am certain that he is well cared for.

Carter House has been Mum's home for over two years now. As a family, we're grateful and extremely happy for the care she receives. The cheerfulness of the staff creates a lovely, welcoming environment to visit and for Mum to live in. We're confident her sterling care will continue due to the dedication of the team. Most importantly, Mum is very happy and enjoys every part of life at Carter House. Thank you to all.

Very pleased with all of the staffs attention for supporting my mother as it has not been easy for her . They have been very careful and attentive ensuring the best care possible was delivered . It would be very nice as been highlighted in the previous meetings that she could receive a weekly cheese salad. This as she can't chew meat Thank you for your support. .

Carter House provides a warm and caring home for my brother who suffers from dementia. The activities organiser has been key to creating a much more active , engaged, environment for residents. A great asset. One staff member in particular is helpful and efficient at handing administration/welfare matters. Carers should be encouraged likewise to engage more closely. Staff shortages are sometimes a problem and clothes go missing!

Don't have an issue with Carter House Care Home they are doing a great job by looking after my mum, so keep up the good work guys she also enjoys her self here, she gets involved in the activities they do. So well done guys thank you for all you do.

There are not enough words for me to use in order the praise the care my relative received from Carter House. Every single person from the cleaners to the customer services manager afforded him respect, empathy and kindness. It would be wrong for me to single out anyone because everyone was a credit to the care home. I will remain forever grateful to each one of you. You made a very lost gentleman (because of dementia) feel he was home and he quickly settled in because of your patience.
