Run away immediately! Do NOT use them! Got a loan in may 20. They start calling you bugging about money on the second day of you 1-15 grace period. They will blow up all people associated with the loan. We found out they only gave us 100,000 in ins which had nothing to do with contents. Our loan was for 150,000 so we would have still owed them money and they wouldn’t have covered anything in the house. Now it’s April 21, we cancel their insurance of course for way better coverage. To be honest I wouldnt finance anything through this place if you send extra they will put it on the back of the note regardless if you have a past due balance even if you call them and make arrangements
This company has made getting a loan impossible for our family. We have literally submitted all the information they requested in 48 or less. They sent someone who doesn’t live in our area to appraise our land (which is paid for) and the home we want to buy and they low balled it. They then changed our loan type without consulting us first. They decreased our loan amount and jacked our interest up to 8.8% when we have good credit. Oh My, didn't know this existed. I would love to share my experience of how I was screwed over and unable to get cascade to help a single mother that got a loan from them and bought her first home for her and her son. A home made of paper. A home I contacted Casade to withdraw the loan for within the first 6 days I was finally allowed to even step in my home. If i could have given them a negative rating I would have!!!!! Do NOT EVER USE CASCADE!!!! I paid off my loan in October. They told me it would take 90days to get my title to my mobile home. 90 days came and went and I called back and they told me oops we should have said 90-100 days when I reminded them it was already past the 100 day mark they claimed they would be sending me paperwork so I could go get a copy of the title by going to the license branch and i would get that paper in 7-10 days. Honestly the worst experience I have ever had with any type of company
Honestly if I could leave a lower score I would. So far everything has gone well with Cascade in the past year. The loan approval, terms, and delivery of our home was satisfactory. Unfortunately the customer service is the WORST I have ever encountered. Never in my life have I been belittled & talked down to by someone who reportedly has “High Customer Satisfaction.” Their “Experienced Helpful Staff” is to say at the very LEAST poorly trained & NOT ready to meet the needs of their customers. Initially very good the original mortgage person was on top of everything. But there has been no communication after the signing of disclosure documents last email I sent was a week ago and no awnser. I don’t know if it’s cause I’m just a poor Irish Jew? Maybe they don’t want to do business with me? Whatever the reason steer clear.
Company is not upfront with you about information about your loan process. Then they'll modify the loan after closing and change the info on you without being open on the changes and then tell you that you're in default if you dont sign. They're difficult to talk to. They'll promise calls back and not follow through. Only care about getting loans and their money, not about their customers. Wish I could give a worse rating.
