Work on roof done incorrectly which caused A LOT of water damage inside the house.Communication as to what was going to occur to fix the water damage to the roof, french door, ceiling, insulation, flooring, etc. only occurred when we called them to find out the status.Was told they would and did replaced all the wet insulation between the walls but when we had to remove the wall to do some electrical work found that all the old insulation was still there. This scheduled two day project was halted early on the second day due to rain. Champion's scheduler then pulled the installation crew off of our job and it took over two weeks for Champion to finally finish the work.
We were disappointed in the time frame to get our sunroom done. It took 5 months. We did financing and they took a draw on the money before we had HOA approval or county building permits, so we had to pay interest for them to have 1/2 of the cost upfront. This was not fully communicated at the contract meeting. Also, a few other things like all electrical work is not recessed into the walls, we would have liked to know that upfront. What they did was beautiful but they didn't finish the job.
Communication is terribly lacking.
(1)Sean didn't notice that the outside old windows color was tan. He ordered white outside replacement windows. The guy doing the measurements noticed it. (2) Sean stated it would take 4 to 6 or 6 to 8 weeks to get the ordered windows back. It took 3 months. (3) The contractor installed the windows and didn't have the window screens. (4) I was appalled that the supervising manager asked us to sign a letter of completion so the contractor could get paid. I don't care about the contractor.
