The Customer Service Group needs a lot of improvement. Our 3rd inspection appointment is scheduled for this Saturday. The first appointment was a Saturday, no phone call, no show. The second appointment my husband took a 1/2 day off of work for the appointment. The last half hour of the inspection window, they called to cancel, as the tech was sick!! Champion really needs to work on improving the Customer Service by adding additional personnel and better sceduling and communication.
I was very disappointed with the company overall. The only bright point was the actual installer. He was very good and very professional. It took over 23 weeks to complete my project (7 windows) and Champion provided no compensation for the troubles caused by such a significant delay. All they had to say was “the contract stated they were not responsible for manufacturing delays”.
The guy harassed me and the install crew wanted to come out on an icy day.
It has been a couple months since I called, and the problem is still not fixed.
After the issues with the intial install I asked to be compensated for my time. Burned a vac day for the 1st day. Caleb stated couldn't take any monies off the install but would send me a dinner certificate. Do you think I've seen that. Nope. I'm not chasing them for that. Take money off the install since I wasted over a half of day waiting and given a BS story about the 1st install date. Lack of follow up on Caleb's part.
