The Champion salesman arrived on time at my home. We headed upstairs to my loft to measure where I wanted a Champion to install in new window. On the way up the stairs the salesman asked, " I forgot my tape measure, do you happen to have one I can use?" I thought to myself you have to be kidding. I returned downstairs and went to my garage to retrieve my tape measure for the Champion salesman to use. I am not going to recommend them to a friend. Because, I don't want a friend to have to go through what I have had to go through.
Nice enough people from start to finish, however, given the chance to do it again, we would not.
Everything was fantastic except for the windows I have with scratches and the process to get it remediated.
The consultation presented by Chris Miller was thorough and professional. The installation crew was skillful and punctual. However, the job is not yet done. One of the windows (the most visible one) was broken upon delivery and was taped with blue tape to hold it together. I am pretty sure that this is not the best insulation strategy. More than 2.5 months have passed since the installation but we have no idea when this window will be replaced. Two other minor fixes are also outstanding.
