We decided to go with Champion due to the sales presentation and the price compared to the other brand (different type of materials i. e. not vinyl) we really were looking at. Do not pay your final payment until you are totally satisfied that the work was done properly because you pay half when you order the work done, and then you pay the other half when the work is done. Do not pay that other half until the work is totally completed properly. The installation guys told me not to use my front door, to allow the glue to dry and I didn't so I wasn't aware of the issues. Installation of 14 windows and 2 sliding doors April 23 & 24, 2019.Numerous issues during and after install. Window adjustments, window screens and sliding door screen issues not fixed or not corrected after several attempts as of June 9, 2019. Beware , do not trust your ideas will be understood and addressed. If you only want a cookie cutter room you might be okay - I can not address the quality of the mass built rooms. Our experience was painful; emotionally and financially.
My project was done on a very rainy day when it should not have been. The work area had lead paint from my windows which was not taken care of in the proper way. I ended up cleaning it up ss well as the dust and wood pieces from windows. My carpet was tracked with mud from the workers and never have they tried to compensate me for it nor have they cleaned it. The outside still has pieces from the old windows on the ground and all my garden bricks are all pushed out of place and have never been fixed by champion windows . I h... read more
Poor service from sales, Instalation crew left our yard a mess with cigarette butts and sheet metal! Windows were opposite of what they were with window seal going from inside to outside.
Poor customer service. Difficult to speak with a live individual in the Columbus office. Given the similarity in quality among the various window manufacturers in the area, if I had to do it again I would choose a different company.
The screen is not self-repairing as I was shown in the salesman demonstration. Overall I'm not completely happy with this window company's handling of this situation and I plan to contact the window company directly with all of these complaints and hope for a good resolution. If not, I will also file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau
Windows are great, Some of the screens, not so much. Had issues with the screens on the color-bonded windows and was told on the day of the widows being installed that I would receive new screens in 4-6 week by my sales rep Anthony. After not hearing anything after 8 weeks, I called and left a voice message and didn't get a return call. Called the next day, got an answer and was told they would check on the screens and get back with me. Never got back with me.
