The person who came by from Champion Windows told me that my porch could be slanted. The salesperson said that it would be no problem and charged us $10,000. They were going to come in January but it did not happen. It did happen by the end of last month. The workers did not do what the salesman had told us. I refused to sign about the work until they did some of the work. They did come back and take the rails off. I did finally sign but I am not satisfied.
We haven't gotten our complete order. We are still waiting for our patio screen door.
My door was on backward and no one told me. It was very complicated to get any kind of response I kept getting the runaround and it took longer than anticipated. It would have been nice for someone to explain and walk me thru the process.
I would like to be able to recommend Champion to friends, but have not had my concerns acknowledged or fixed. Bathroom window came broken, and I understand an outside company is to replace it, which has not happened. I left a voice mail for service department on 6/11, Left a voice mail for Mike McInerney on 6/16 concerning the window AND that all of the awning screens have small gaps across the bottom. Bugs and flies can get in the rooms.
The new windows that were installed are fine. The problem is that a number of existing Champion windows are leaking, New windows have been ordered under warranty, these were ordered before the new windows were ordered. Apparently it takes longer to manufacture windows that are going to replace existing windows under warranty than newly purchased windows. The salesman didn't make it clear that I wasn't getting the faucets and fascia cover.
I can't get anyone to return my call or send me information so I can use as a tax credit. One window was installed broken and I would like it fixed.
