We've had some issues after installation and we've had trouble getting someone out to fix things.
Did not complete satisfactory work and not responsive to fix mistakes.
After signing the order for two patio doors and two side windows February 22nd, we have yet to have one of our side windows installed. It has been a comedy of errors, twice the window came in from the factory with the drainage holes drilled on the wrong side. Today is July 20th, and we are awaiting our third try at them getting the window right. No communication whatsoever from Champion about the matter unless prompted by me. So, no, I will never recommend Champion to anyone, in fact the opposite.
We were very happy with their past service, but they did a horrible job on the screen door and have not gotten back to us about it.
Having radio silence for months, only to discover that the initial crew manager assigned was no longer with the company, and that we still needed excavation and concrete scheduled, left a really bad taste in our mouths. Chas was fine except that no one mentioned that Champion windows in the end would have an over all 3" less glass than other brands. Add a screen and you lose even more actual glass. We had two small, narrow windows which are now visually smaller to us. I think this should have been discussed with us at the time of the bid. If I knew this I would have used Pella as the bids were close.
