The dinner was outstanding as was the service. The dessert tasted like it was prepackaged. I have never seen tiramisu served with a blob of chocolate pudding. There was a tiny spot of espresso on the lady fingers that were otherwise plain and crunchy. The whipped cream tasted like it came from a spray can. The carrot cake was dense. I wouldn't order dessert there again. However, we love the Cunningham Group restaurants and would try Charbonos again for a meal.
The whole experience was a comedy of errors from them serving ( and charging me for) a half glass of wine as it was all they had left of that particular one to getting one of my dining partners order totally messed up and weren't particularly professional about replacing it. They did comp it though. Our server must have been really new but he was very polite even if not well informed about the menu. There were several other small annoyances. For the prices I expected a lot better service and food. I will not be going back.

Service was horrible. Food was undercooked or cold. Very expensive and not worh it at all.

The roast beef on the Chicago is not real roast beef, it’s processed garbage. We have not been to Charbonos in awhile and the quality has definitely not what it was.
