Very disappointed. We were sittef 40 minutes after our reservation time. Our server didn’t identify themselves as our server. They just kept bringing water. We didn’t realize they were our server until we complained that our server hadn’t been by to take our order. Never took a drink order. Very disappointed
We went to Charbonos for Fathers Day. We have eaten here many times before but not recently. We are frequent diners at the Cunningham Group. We love Bri Burger..Stone Creek Plainfield. We were very disappointed in our last visit to Charbonos . We arrived at 12:45 for our reservation. Service was horrible. Know it was busy that day but it was forever to be waited on. A little disappointed one of the guests wanted a baked potato and was told it would be 45 minutes. Seems a little sad at about 5:15-5:30 no baked potato.
I normally give Cunningham restaurants 5 stars on everything but they were a little off on this occasion. Food was good but the asparagus was uncharacteristicly stringy and tough. Service was also a tad slow.
I was very disappointed in our service. Food was great! Service was TERRIBLE! Drinks were wrong, food was forgotten, we asked the waiter THREE times for our bill and waited 30 minutes to get it. We got enough points to receive a gift card... waited another 20 minutes for that and they sent it to the wrong table initially. This was my mother’s day meal and I was extremely disappointed!
How was our experience? In a word, disappointing. I drove from Ohio to take my mother here for Mother's Day. The dining room was overcrowded - maybe extra tables were brought in to squeeze more business for the holiday? The prime rib was overcooked and cut by an untrained kid. The food was mostly bland and uninteresting. One vegetable was available with dinner. Made a reservation days in advanced. Arrived on time and still had to wait 15 minuets for a seat. Waited another 5 minutes for water, 15 minutes for a kids chocolate milk, and only had 4 menus for our party of 6. Food did arrive in sufficient time but service in between was severely lacking.... not to mention the wait time for the check after we completed our meal. Very disappointed in the service level this evening and lack of preparation.
Our food, excellent, as usual at most Cunningham restaurants. Personally, my horseradish salmon with asparagus substituted for Brussels sprouts, was the best. The service for the 4 of us seated in the bar area, was not so good. Our server obviously very rushed, perhaps an off-night or someone else didn't show for work. We had to repeatedly ask for more water, bread, dipping sauce and she initially skipped a cocktail order. Just not up to expected service.
