It took awhile for us to be sat, even though we had reservations. Granted, it was Christmas Eve, so totally understandable. I will say that this is the second time I’ve ordered the scallops. First time they were beyond too salty, this time they were extremely spicy. Very inconsistent and both overpowering. Probably won’t order them again.
Noise levels were high and the food was dried out. The service was good.
Normally this is one of our favorite places (go there all the time) but my reservation wasn't honored and our food was not prepared properly. The "host" has a lot to learn about the service industry.
The meal was good. It took quite a while for our server to appear. The garlic mashed potatoes seemed like they'd been sitting around for a while. It's unfortunate that the restaurant doesn't have sound proofing because it is very loud.
Had family from out of town visit, we have been to this location before and thought that it would be a good spot to take them. Unfortunately our experience did not live up to our expectations. We visited on a Friday evening and the quality of food was definitely transparent of the amount of dishes leaving the kitchen. Service was subpar to say the least and the wait for anything was far too long. For a 250ish dollar meal I wish we would have left with a better taste in our mouth.

Every Cunningham restaurant I go too the services keeps getting worse. For what the good costs you would think the staff could be better... non-attentive, wait forever fit your for... just bad...

Their grill wasn’t working. Of course we went in with no cash and they had already started prepping our salads so those came out but anything that needed to be warm wasn’t available. We wanted to tip the waiter as he was great, just happened to go at the worst time. Accidents happen so we will be back!
Filet mignon was over cooked, dried out and not very flavorful. Supposed to be medium well was more like well done. My wife’s New York strip was supposed to be well done and came out well done but was very juicy and flavorful.
This was our first experience at Charbonos in Avon. The decor is a little dated, but nice. It would really improve the atmosphere to weave small white lights into the lattice/vines above the interior tables. As for the food, it was good, but nothing to write home about.
