Our server was extremely slow. We were not in a hurry, but 35 minutes to get our first drink and 2 hours for the meal was bad.
My third visit was the worst. Expected better on Valentine Day. Seated at an uncomfortable table with fold down edges that numbed our legs. very wobbly chairs. Felt like they would collapse. Ordered simple lettuce and tomatoes salad and it threw them for a loop. Then ordered a 8oz. Filet med well. It came out bleeding . So they took it and my plate. Left me with a baked potato on a saucer . Finally got my steak on a saucer also. The staff was very good! 2good visits and one TERRIBLE!
Steak was under cooked, mashed potatoes were hard and flavorless. For 91$ On steaks I was disappointed, I’d rather go to longhorn or Texas road house. At least I’ll get more bang and flavor for my buck. Very disappointed in the food, service was good though.
Service was fine, food mediocre. First time dining there, don't anticipate returning.
I ordered the salad/filet mignon/carrot cake option off of the Devour Indy menu on a recent date night with my wife. I was very disappointed with the steak. While it was cooked to a perfect medium rare, the outside had heavy horrible tasting charred grill marks that tasted a little fishy. I have never before failed to finish a 6 oz. steak but I just couldn't get over the awful taste of the grill marks. Every year our family looks forward to the traditional Christmas Eve dinner at Charbonos. However, this year was a disappointment. It was like they weren't prepared. They didn't offer prime rib, which is a staple for Christmas Eve. The bar didn't have or was out of ginger beer for a Moscow Mule. We were able to grab the last bottle of A1 and that only had enough in it for 1 person. And the chicken alfredo was very bland and doughy.
