Steak had more fat than. Necessary. Cold in the middle. Wife’ Chicken was over done and dry. Garlic potatoes were dry and not much taste of garlic. Service average.
Had the Gnocchi for lunch. Grossly over cooked to the point that it was mushy. Server took 15 months to acknowledge/greet us.
We had not rated at Charbonks in over 5 years, and the quality of the food has decreased. The pasta was soggy. The scallops were greasy and sticky. And, the salad was not fresh. We were very disappointed. We did have an excellent server.
I have never seen service this slow. Arrived at 11:30 for lunch, total of three tables occupied including ours. Server disorganized, exteremely slow service for 4 sandwiches and a salad... over 35 min to receive. All sandwiches were cold by the time they were delivered. Usually eat here for dinner with great service. Learned the lesson for lunch.
The bar didn't have Jack Daniels Tennessee Fire or Fireball, so that was kind of a bummer. And the service was kinda slow.
Chicken was overcooked. Brought new item but was charged higher price. Felt we should have been comped or at least charged the lesser of the 2 prices.
Very disappointed. We love the other restaurants owned by Cunningham but this one fell very short. Brunch took over an hour and a half and most was cold by the time it got to our table. Our server had maybe 3 tables but seemed very rushed and busy. Not sure what might have been going on but we would not come back for brunch.
The food was good and there are some nice wines in their wine list. However, the service was poor, perhaps too many tables being covered by a single waiter. The waiter was obviously trying to manage too much. This detracted enormously from what could have been an otherwise good experience.
