Ordered the special but waiter brought something completely different from his discription. No effort to correct problem or reduce bill. Dining area very noisy. Booth table bigger than average making hearing my wife difficult because of the noise. Too many other places to choose if good conversation is important.
Sadly, I remember this place being way better! My husband and I went out for a "date" night - spending $160 for mediocre service and poorly cooked food. Filet was undercooked. The potatoes were hard and cold. The boneless ribeye was overcooked. The wasabi that came out with the tuna was hard, like it had been left out. My asparagus was in no way cooked either. All around disappointing meal.... We won't be back.
I must say that the Prime Rib I had was delicious. However, the vegetables with it were bland and rubbery. Normally the food is top notch, but this time it was not. My wife's skirt steak salad was soupy with too much dressing. We have been there several times and have always noted that the service is lacking. Unfortunately, I will not be back to this establishment. 40 minutes to get a bottle of wine, our salads came out before we had our first glass of wine. Scallops were not bad and the Terryaki glaze was good but the potatoes were bland (tasted like instant but I was assured the were real). Waitress, not so great. Not impressed with the portion size either. Four scallops, caesar salad, and "potatoes" equal more than $20.00. Overall, just one disappointment after another...
I was so disappointed, new menu was sad and lesser quality food than I am used to from them, by far. Service was not up to par either. I hope this is not the new norm. We spent a lot of money taking out of town quests and had talked up the food, it was a bit embarrassing.
