This used to be a go-to for our special occasions. They used to have excellent service and food, the steaks were prime and always on point. Unfortunately, the past few times we've gone, the service was lack luster and the food was even worse, a filet should not be tough and a good server listens and follows through. We're not going back anytime soon, even though we have the points reward card.
Waiter wasn't nearly available like you would expect with the way customers are demanding. Another server helped us when we looked like we were waiting impatiently. Won't be returning for that reason.
Went for breakfast buffet. Not much selection and the food was not fresh. Will not return.
I go to Charbono's frequently, love the people and the food, so I just hated giving the food and overall rating unfavorable reviews. However, this trip was not a good one. I believe the fish in the dish I ordered was either bad or under-cooked. Lots of problems for the next few hours. We regularly eat at this restaurant but this time the table we were sitting at was dirty, the service was extremely slow, the food was sub-par. We asked to speak to the manager and she didn't seem to care. The overall experience was disappointing for this type of restaurant. We go to Charbonos once a week but won't go back until things improve.
Many great experiences, but this time was AWFUL
My husband and I are newly weds and wanted to spend our first Valentine's dinner at Charbonos. We have celebrated special occasions there for years. This very special date was a complete let down though. The Abercrombie looking high school server didn't want to wait on us at all. We waited 10 mins to order drinks, because he didn't come over until then. He brought the 1/2 loaf of bread at the time as well. We ordered and he quickly wrote down what we said and jetted off.
