Chocolat's ambition is not matched by its execution. Food is average, and expensive for what is provided. Service was inattentive and inexpert, although the waiter did have a high tolerance for the less-than-well behaved children at the table. The bar was lively and I'd be more inclined to come back here for drinks here than dinner.

I was highly disappointed in the food portions and the food quality at this restaurant. I expected much more. The ambiance was decent but the food was not impressive. I ordered the Miso glazed salmon which was ok at best, I was still hungry after I finished it. The rest of my party ordered, the red snapper which was practically inedible and the roasted organic chicken which was also decent at best but left the diners half full. The menu and recipes would benefit from a menu makeover!

The food was excellent although the desserts paled in comparison. The service was atrocious. When you walk in there's no designated area to check in so my group of 4 were suspended at the door until someone approached us 5 minutes later. But we had to ask were to check in and were told to remain right where we were. It was a bit of a mess. Needs some definite polishing.

This was our third, and most likely last visit to this restaurant. Each time the service has gotten worse. On our previous visit, we waited 15 minutes for a table, despite the fact that half of the tables were empty (and remained so throughout our meal), and our server spent more time on her cell than waiting. During our last visit, we waited ten minutes for someone to take our order. It took another 15 minutes before we got our drinks.
