It was Mother's day and we had a 4pm reservation. At 4pm they didn't have half the available on their menu, nor half of the entrees on the menu. How do you not plan ahead? I will never go back here.
The food was okay but the wait for it to come out was not...
Food was OK but service was not. I did not find the staff to be friendly and I had to constantly ask for coffee refill or water. Restaurant looked very nice and it was clean, unfortunately not a spot that I will come out of my way to eat in.
This place is irresponsible!!! Made reservations and wasnt acknowledged!! Had to wait to be seated for about an hour!! I would not recomend this place!!!! It wasnt all that!!!!
This place is wrong on every level. The prices are ridiculous for the amateur (at best!) food they are serving here! I ordered a salad which stated is had gorgonzola cheese in it...and the salad came out riddled with feta! Big difference! That was just the beginning of our disappointing night at Chocolate! Just save yourself the headache...and the money.
I like Chocolat in general. It has a nice ambiance and good drinks. However the wait staff was rude and inattentive. Furthermore, my friends and I were a group of 12 and the food came out in intervals of 30 minutes. Some of the food was late and a lot of the menu choices were "unavailable" that evening. Our waiter was extremely passive. Food was just ok. The Salmon BLT is a must try!!!
The food was ok, but the service was very poor. By the time the food came we weren't even hungry anymore. Our waitress was not attentive and we didn't even get our entire order.
I don't really know what to make of the place. The venue and ambiance are great, however, the food leaves something to be desired. I got a burger, which was ok but probably overpriced for what it was and definitely overpriced for where Harlem is right now. Our waitress was great though.
