I thought charging $6 for a bottle of water in a dry hot climate is simply unacceptable. Very conducive to dehydration while staying at their property.

Staff was great but the room was a letdown My whole review is on TA if you want additional details, since this site has a shorter limit. The best part about the Fairmont is the staff. Every single employee we encountered was friendly and helpful, and the service was downright outstanding. As for the resort itself, we were disappointed, to say the least. I stay in top resorts including the Broadmoor and never regretted wasting my money as much as I did with the Fairmont. Lobby seats are so dirty and worn out. Not many staff to open doors and help you navigate. I booked a suite and was so disappointed seeing hairs on my pillow before even laying down. Fireplace was dirty. Carpet was dirty and leftover coke bottle of precious guests were not removed. This resort needs to learn from The Broadmoor.
