Food, as usual, was fabulous! Waiter was not good... busy for Mis-Steak night, but he was rude, ignored us and acted put out to split checks when he never asked before he presented them.
Seating was really uncomfortable (chairs had no cushion, springs must have been broken). Wine portion was small (big glass, little wine). Steak had almost no flavor. Service was slow, but may have been busy. I couldn't tell from where I was sitting.
As usual, the food was very good, but we were seated in the basement, in a "private" dining room, which is actually just across from the bar. While it was nice, the chairs were awful, way too big, heavy and low. My back was killing me when we left. If we go back, will request upstairs seating.
Steak was way too salty with really no recourse as to fixing the the entree. Last experience was excellent but recipe was changed to the worse. Won't be back.
My cowboy steak was surprisingly salty! Typing on this review online review isterrible. .. space bar needs to be hit twice...
After hearing all the hype for three years, I finally went to this place. Total disappointment on the ambiance of the dining area. Felt like I was in a cafeteria. Our server had the personality of a wet dish rag....no inner action, rude...did not even bother to tell us the specials or the way the meat is prepared (i only know this because the couple next to us had their waiter do it)... I enjoyed the food , but really didn't like the seating . My husband and I could not have a conversation because we were sat so close to other tables . The restaurant was not busy so there was no need to sit everyone so close together . The other table all the man did was drop F bombs . Way over priced to not allow for a special dinner
The hostess was arrogant and didn't smile the whole night as far as I could tell. She overshadowed a very good wait person and the person seating diners. It seemed like customers were a bother even if they were spending over a $100.00 per diner.
This was our 1st time and we are new to WA. The tables are crowded, the service is TERRIBLE, the food cold. The beet salad was pitiful, the bread was boring. we payed 250+ with no alcohol. Patrons were dressed in shorts and tshirts. If you like this place at all you have never been to a good steakhouse. The dessert was good and they did comp it but that was because a waiter dropped a huge tray of plates right behind us. The waiters are rushed, no bus boys, just a really low class place.
