Food was great,waiter was awesome as well. But is was 10th anniversary and we were sat inbetween 2 other couples. No space for dining. Tables are positioned so that you are a mile from your partner and ontop of the person next to you
We celebrated a special birthday several years ago and were disappointed however but decided to try again. This place is over rated and over priced. Our steaks were heavily salted which too away from the meat. Service was slow. At one point the host asked about our meal; all our plates were pushed away however no offer to clear them. We have dined around the world and the wine list was overpriced as were the menu items. Spokanites need to wake up and realize a big price doesn't mean a great meal or eating experience.
Sorry Folks, Prices are outta this world for what you get..Wine, Apps., Drinks and Steaks...My Rib-Eye was coated with salt,almost could'nt eat it..
If you are looking for a great steak in Spokane, think twice before heading to Churchill"s. Two of the three people who ordered steaks had to send them back because they weren't cooked as ordered. No flavor what so ever to their Prime Rib Eye...Very, very disappointing.....
Food and service were great, but cold draft made it uncomfortable and less enjoyable. Felt like I needed a coat and gloves on and it was a nice day:(
I have been to Churchills several times and generally have enjoyed my food. They do have the most wonderful bread (although they don't bring it before the meal so you wait a good 20+ minutes until dinner is brought). I most recently went for Misteak night and was very disappointed. I got a steak that was so tough I could barely cut it. I ordered it medium rare and it came out about medium rare to rare. Very disappointed with service. Feel as if we are not a welcome customer. We reserved our table for dinning. As server come to ask us what are we ordering we were told to go down stair for that kind of food we order. No explanation was given why. We told them we had reservation for table up stair. We almost walk out of the place but my wife was very hungry . We decided to move to down stair and ate. We have decided to never come back here again. Service was so so but food is excellent. It was only my husband and myself dining together. We were set in a small group of 4 tables with 2 seats each, so while I got to see a little bit of the view of the restaurant, my husband was facing the wall. Enjoyed none of the beauty of the place. Very disappointed. It was such a tight space the waiter could hardly get to our table.
I have never written a review but this one deserves it. Valentine's Day reservation was made a month prior. We were sat, order taken, salad wasn't great, dinner came and we asked if the dinner came with sides and she said "oh yeah so sorry I will be right back with those" 20 minutes later she comes back asking to box our food up and we said we didn't receive the sides, then she wanted to get them but we were finished eating.
