Service was very slow. My iced tea glass remained empty for 30 minutes at a time. Very disappointed. Food was excellent but server could have been much better. Felt like I was at a Denny's. When your tab for a party of 4 is $300, I expect better service. Also the tables are so close together and can be loud. People in flop flops and gym shorts was unexpected.... Business attire is better suited for a restaurant of this caliber.
We have dined at Churchlll's numerous times and loved it. This visit was disappointing. The service we received was not up to past standards. When we spend over $300 on a meal, we expect a little more.
I knew this place was expensive going in, but when the waitress offered to add a lg. or small lobster tail to my meal I should have asked the price as she didn't offer that information. I was shocked when I got my bill that my "small surf and small turf" was $92. I got the feeling because my table of 4 didn't order any liquor that they were wanting us to eat quickly and get out. From the person that sat us at our table, to the waitress(who reeked of cigarette smoke).....the staff was prim and proper but had absolutely no sen... read more
Although the service was OK it wasn't at the level I would expect for a top notch steakhouse. It was a Tuesday night and not very crowded. Usually at a restaraunt of this caliber your drink glass would not remain empty for very long. Slight delays between courses also. Seated right away but right by the entrance to the kitchen. It looked like there were better seats available. Wine list was impressive but I believe overpriced for a lot of them. There were only a few bottles of red that were under $100.
We were entertaining a special guest from out of town. We were thrilled to learn that Churchill's accepted our late-night dining request. Reservations at 10:30PM on a Friday evening after seeing Camelot at the INB Performing Arts Center. The previous Thursday, I contacted Churchill's again to confirm that a 10:30PM reservation would be acceptable. I was assured we would enjoy a wonderful experience, even at the late hour. Unfortunately, the experience fell short of wonderful. The service we received was very slow. The young ... read more
We will not be back to this restaurant. even if the price point were 1/2 where it is, the service was totally unacceptable. and to top it off the food was mediocre - to be fair, my wifes steak was excellent, my pork chop though was not good at all. You can find much better places in town at much lower price
My friends and I were seated at our table by a very nice hostess. After sitting at out table for 20 minutes as servers walked past our table several times but none stopping to even say "hello", we decided to leave. I heard good things, and I wish I could have tried the food. Have eaten as several great restaurants in Spokane, and this is by far my most disappointing experience.
This was our first wedding anniversary dinner. I ordered the Veal osso Bucco. The veal was tough. The could not cut the vegetables with a knife; they were rubbery. The wait staff was rude and made us feel as though we were inconveniencing her. I had high expectations but Churchill's missed the mark by a long shot.
The table we sat at was way too close to the next. We pretty much heard everything the couple next to us were talking about. The food was tasttasteless but we should have ordered the steak. Overall, I probably won't be back. Our waitress was awful, extremely slow.
