I had account with Clarity in the beginning it was good I was off of work for a few days I asked if they could suspend my account. I was told yes,No money would be taken from my account. Friday come they took the full amount of $356. Which overdrafted my account I called customer service they put it back in my account. A month later I get a letter from one of my creditors stating the are going to ******* me I told clarity. My wife and I had been attempting to get a personal loan so we could consolidate our debt and help make a dent in it and really make our money work. I was lied to about their process. I would have never signed a contract that could land me in court before handling any of my debt! I was told that ****** days after no payments were made that negations would begin. IT'S BEEN ALMOST 7 MONTHS. And i had a ******* show up at my house today with a court summons. Clarity Debt Resolutions has negotiated only 2 resolutions, and with the removal of another, my payment should have gone down. Instead it has been notably increased to a level I cannot afford. This company is hurting me, not helping me with debt.

They settled one of my creditors, the smallest one. When i went into the savings account to review the balance and whether or not they were working on another creditor, they took out their fee for the settlement upfront. They had only made 1 payment to the creditor, and took their entire fee for the settlement. Then they told me that once I deposited more money then they would start negoitating more accounts. Worst company I have dealt with from lying to getting me sued to getting a wage garnishment even stay away far away from this company.

So I live in **********, I started the program, and they took out payments for the resolution:They never told me about the credit score drop. I learned that the hard way. More importantly, after several months of paying, and finding a better rated firm charging me over 50% less than Clarity, Clarity didn't want to break up with me. Clarity has been uncommunicative with me. They have accepted my payments for three months, and claimed to have worked out arrangements with four creditors. But it turns out that none of these arrangements exist. Now I'm being served summons by at least one creditor, and Clarity's promise of ************** and defense has vanished. They don't respond to my support requests ************ portal, email, or phone. Awful company to deal with. No one at the company knows what they are doing. They just transferred me like 4 times for a simple payment history request. This is by far the worst customer service I have dealt with in recent memory. Not to mention they tanked my credit score. BUYERS BEWARE!
