I have been paying into Clarity for almost 2 years now after being told I would only be in the program for a short period of time. I still have over a year of payments to make and they have only settled one of my debts for $2200. I have been paying them almost $700 a month for 2 years and my accounts are still outstanding. I feel like I was very misled from the start. I also feel like the legal fees for $59 are a scam and they should refund this money to me. Clarity Debt Resolution Inc (CDR) has very good reviews online. I don't know if these numbers are real but they don't represent my interaction with them. I contacted **** Loans from a flier and was pushed through to CDR. I contracted with them to help relieve monthly payments from two large debts I incurred due to a divorce. I spoke with two different individuals and after talking with their legal, I signed the documents. What I was promised when I enrolled in this program turned out to be very different from reality. I was assured my monthly payment would be based on what I could affordwe agreed on a specific amount that wouldnt change. I was also informed that only one creditor might pose a challenge, while the others would be easy to negotiate. I was told the negotiations would take around ******* days. I have paid this company more than $2400 and there has been contact with only 1 of my creditors. I have reached out to all my creditors to confirm there has been no third-party contact, and I am carrying the financial burden of default entirely on my own. Recent phone calls to solicit additional fees for legal counsel imply that Clarity will not have representation without payment. I am disappointed by the misrepresentation at the time of sale of their company, and am taking recourse to cancel the agreement.

$621.90 this is the amount of fees that I was charged out of the first payment I made. Which was the only payment made. In fact I canceled the program within the first month because I was being told by creditors that they had not received any contact from *******. When I called to cancel the woman we spoke to was extremely rude to both myself and husband. We finally got her to cancel everything after having to argue back and forth with her for a while. This busy does not provide the service and resolution they promise at the time they are contracting for your busy! My Cedit went from 700+ to 600 and dropping due to their lack of follow through on their commitment! I will turn this case over to an attorney.

It is a very slow and long process not clearly explained or defined. Later, I Became aware of all kinds of hidden fees. My credit score suffered and became way to low. Every month $1211 is deposited, and It's hard to determine when all my debt accounts will be settled. Also, having two dashboards CFT and Clarity debt relief is difficult to correlate. And statements cannot be obtained. Not too happy with the process.

I opened an account 10/2023 and as of today 08/2024 I still have unresolved debt. I still have 3 accounts that are not settled, and the one has filed a summons against me within the court system. This is not my fault and should have never gotten to this point. Now it shows against me when it really Clarity should have already resolved this.

In January of 2024, I was told, after three months of deposits into an escrow account, ********************** would start to negotiate with my creditors. Three months passed and they said in six months. Six months came and I was told more money was needed to negotiate. I asked for the money they collected, which they returned. However, there were numerous charges including $600 for legal help, which I never needed. The total I paid out with all the fees was $976.65, which I will never see. THIS IS A RIP OFF!!!
