Our main office is the Newport location. However since moving to Aliso Viejo we go to Laguna Hills now. I have to say as all the locations from the front office staff to the nurses are all just as amazing at every location. We see Dr. Philips when we go to Laguna Hills and I cannot begin to even tell you how amazing he is. Very detailed oriented and thorough. For the Newport location our pediatrician is Dr. Rhee. Dr. Phillips is by far one of the most amazing doctors I have ever encountered. I have 2 boys (ages 6 and 2) and he remembers details about them and their interests. They both feel comfortable with him and do not want to go anywhere else. He takes the time to answer any questions you have and never makes you feel rushed. He makes you feel like your children are his top priority. The office staff has always been friendly and the nurses are wonderful.
Had to come on and write another stellar review for Coastal Kids...namely, Dr. Phillips. All 3 of my kids were under the weather. I have a 7 year old, 2 year old and 8 month old. I called for an appointment and I must say I was a bit surprised by the lady I spoke to on the phone. Need a new pediatrician? Look no further than Dr. Dennis Phillips! He is seriously amazing. After 1 year of seeing a different pediatrician and not being satisfied with his bedside manner or thoroughness, our family friends recommended their pediatrician. We have taken our 4 year-old to Dr. Weinberg & Dr. Phillips since she was a newborn. In the beginning, we were unhappy to have to wait so long in the lobby (once, we waited an hour), but the doctors were worth the wait. We were sorry to see our beloved Dr Weinberg retire, but we have been extremely happy with Dr Abelowitz and the changes made over the past two years. I have been taking my daughter to Coastal Kids for over 4 years and we have seen many doctors, all of whom were fantastic, but I finally feel like we have met "the one" with Dr. Brandie LaSala! Dr. LaSala is amazing! She is friendly, thorough, knowledgable, and really takes her time with us. We love this office! Dr. Phillips is great, always takes his time with our daughter and is very sweet and gentle. My main reason for writing this though is the office staff. I feel like most reviews people write about an office staff are terrible... this will be the opposite. These women are so friendly and are always cheerful at the front. I've been taking both my girls to Coastal Kids for several months now. We started at another location and had some hits and missed there but switched over to Laguna Hills since it was closer to our home. We've been seeing Dr. Brandie LaSala now for a couple months and she is the reason I had to write a rave review today.
