This is a scam company. Please be aware before booking with them. Thery are brokers and not a moving company, will come with a uhaul, charge 3X on the day of your move and swallow your deposit. Never **** them any deposit amount.

This company is absolutely horrible!!! Total SCAM ARTISTS! The way they change the pricing on you when you arrive regardless of your quote! We went over our inventory 3 times and then want to charge more when they arrive. It's a scam tactic. We had to pay like than quoted due to this c*** and the dishonesty this company provides. We did a military moving across the country and when talking to representatives from different companies, the representative from Coastal, named ****** ********, told us our move would get picked up on the day requested and it could take ***** business days for our stuff to be delivered. I was quoted $3500 for the move and gave a detailed list with sizes of the furniture. I even removed items from the list and moved them myself. When the movers showed up, they were in an Enterprise moving truck and wanted me to sign a contract that was $2100 over my estimate. They then told me that Coastal is just a broker and that the move is based on footage in the truck. I agree with the other reviews. Do not use coastal moving services. When the movers arrived they informed me that I was quoted incorrectly. My volume was double of what I was quoted. I do accept the fact that my stuff could have been a little bit more but not DOUBLEI swapped out 15 medium boxes that I was quoted for, instead opted for 3 medium boxes, 2large boxes, 6 large bags, and added 2 big crates. They are bad people stay away They will hold you hostage with no choice to pay. They only take cash so you can not dispute charges.
Whatever you do, please do not use Coastal Moving Services. **** and ****** both reassured me that I'd have (2) 53 ft trailers with a pallet **** and forklift for the price I was given. When the truck got her it was only 1 truck and a pallet ****. 2nd truck never came or forklift and both the *** and manager would not answer me anymore. If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would. This business is a scam and the deposit of almost $7,000 is already cashed. I want a refund if not, I will be taking this to court.
Coastal Moving gave me a $2k estimate that required a 1k deposit I paid prior to the unexpected arrival of Loadrans at my door on the day of my move. ******** immediately said my estimate was inaccurate for my 1 bed 1 bathroom apartment and that I would have to sign a new contract with them for 4k, requiring 2k up front via Zelle or cash.
