I posted a poor rating for COIT but it was erroniously posted under San Francisco.My bad. I was contacted by COIT HQ and by Yelp HQ. Instead of moving it to the proper geographic area, my post was deleted by Yelp. Let me simply state again. I will not use COIT again, for carpet cleaning. You are better off cleaning your carpet yourself, as my wife and I did with our Bissell steam cleaner. Just saying.

Lousy Lousy Job Lousy company Lousy service. Stay away from this rip off company. I live in the Stockton area. There was a 40% promotion to clean carpets. We had just moved and needed our old house carpet cleaned. We called COIT and made an appointment. They came and in less than an hour they were finished and left. I signed thinking it was a good job. 1st and last time. Coupon my ass. Customers service is a 0 . I'm still stuck with the same problem. Guy was at my house cleaning carpet for 10 minutes.

I am so angry that I scheduled a representative to arrive today to give me a quote. They said they would call me to give me a "window" of when to expect them. I did not receive a call so I called them finally at 10:00am to get some information, they promised to call me right back and OF COURSE after a 1/2 hour wait they did not call. I called them again and they told me that someone would be out sometime today but they could not give me a window of time. I'll take my business elsewhere!!!!!!!!

This place sucks! They send a "salesman" who doesn't do anything but try to sell you additional services. I paid $340 for one area rug and a runner - at half price - and they BOTH came back looking exactly the same. Only the area rug was also shrunk to several inches smaller than it was. They COULD have told me that when they gave the estimate instead of burying it in the small print to cover themselves. Also, they left the garbage wrapping the rugs HERE!

I just called to get the 30% off any room special the lady said they don't offer that and they add square footage. Their add is an out and out lie!!!

Coit carpet cleaning services is a self-proclaimed professional cleaning business and yet their cleaning services are equivalent at best to the other less expensive services offered by many others. They failed to inform of a $110.00 minimum charge and an additional $10.00 service charge when setting up the appointment to get a very small carpeted area cleaned. I can't begin to tell you the stress Coit has given me. My four month old sofas are ruined due to the lack of knowledge on how to clean them by Coit. After three attempts and a supervisor running a bush over them I was told it was the way the light shines on them that created a dirty look. One owner admitted the cleaning man had a job over his head even after three attempts to clean them. On 5/6 after being assured by Stan, that COIT technicians were experts in fabric cleaning. I regrettably had my velvet sofa and 2 chairs cleaned. Although labels on the furniture clearly stated use dry cleaning solvent only and brushing of fabric will be required. Jeremy's results were disastrous. On 5/10 Robert and Eddie came to evaluate the damage. Robert assured us it would be corrected.
