i can't understand how this company can still be in business with their bait and switch tactics. if they operate in san francisco they should know a lot of places are up flights of stairs. Don't just show up and think you can add labor charges!

This is the cable company of cleaning services. I wish I could give negative stars. Do not use them if you especially have antique SF heating ducts. They will remove things and not replace them. I learned this the hard way. Estimate: never showed up and I should have stopped there and not rescheduled. Had to reschedule our actual appointment. They were not apologetic about it and showed up right before their window of time expired to preform the air duct cleaning.

We made an appointment on line to get dryer duct cleaning, and got an email confirmation. COIT never showed up, and when we called never responded. We took a half day off work to wait for them - this is unacceptable. I should have gone to Yelp first and seen these low ratings and then I wouldn't have wasted my time

TERRIBLE. I don't write many reviews but COIT's service was so horrendous I had to go on here and write about it. I tend to be pretty lax when working with contractors but Coit's lack of professionalism is unacceptable. I scheduled an appointment. Coit gave me a two hour window. I was in a room with a view of the front of my house so I'd notice when the technician dropped by. I saw a COIT van drive by but the driver never stopped. Similar to the other reviews I had a scheduling nightmare with Coit. After rescheduling once and getting a time set, I received a call the morning of saying the couldn't make it. I called their 800 number and was told they would be there but 2 hours later then the original appointment. Then I received a call saying they couldn't make it on the scheduled day. A wasted day.

Made 3 calls and one online appt and still couldn't get a call back from Coit with an appt. First made an online appt for dryer vent cleaning and received confirmation for the day requested and email said I would be receiving a call 24-48 hours prior to scheduled date for a window appt for technician to come. Received no call, so I called 4 pm evening before day of appt. Now they tell me they don't have a technician to do dryer vent cleaning for the day it was scheduled and it was rescheduled for another day. Same thin... read more

COIT has canceled on me twice now so I'm done. Very frustrating. The first time they just told me same day the weren't coming. The second time was today when they canceled because I didn't respond to a voice mail they left yesterday. Canceling your scheduled time because you didn't respond to a voice mail you didn't know you were going to get is very frustrating. And the phone number they called from gets routed to another location where no one can reach the local office.

I made an appointment online for carpet cleaning a few weeks ago. Someone called from their office to ask if it would be possible to switch the days. No problem, I told her, and we agreed on a time and day, but nobody showed up. Not a nice way to treat repeat customers.

I would avoid calling COIT unless you enjoy waiting for contractors not to show up. I waited around for them three times, and they never showed up or called. When I contacted them to find out if they were sending someone out I was told their team had called in sick at the last minute (three times over the course of two months). Based on the other reviews I have seen here they must have some critically ill people working for them, or they are really piss-poor liars who don't know how to keep a schedule.
