My Coit technician Jerry Madden did an excellent job cleaning my "way past due" carpets and floor tile. He also cleaned my luxury vinyl kitchen floor and made it look like new. We hired a Coit rep to deep clean our kitchen floor tile and the results were wonderful with both the tile and the grout looking like they had 10 years ago. While the service was a bit more expensive than planned, the reason for the 4 instead of 5 stars, the results were worth it. And our rep was a friendly and very efficient man.
My husband scheduled an in person cleaning estimate for our hardwood floors, carpet and linoleum based on a referral from a neighbor. weve used Coit several times in the past. Martin was our latest cleaning "specialist". He told my wife that our carpets already looked clean and wondered why we wanted them cleaned. He worked quickly through the process and left. after cleaning my wife noticed a small blood stain from one of our pets that didn't come out. it was one of the main reasons we had coit come in the first place. COIT send an air duct cleaning person who spoke no English. He could count to 10 though! When he had completed the cleaning, neither the AC or heat would turn on. His cell phone received no reception at our home in San Rafael. Since he spoke no English, it was impossible to help him log onto our network. Finally I had to let him use my cell phone to call his tech supervisor, who finally talked him through re-activating our AC and heat.

Simple request to clean a hallway stairs carpet in an SF apartment building. Parking issue out front made for a "no can do" response by technician who came out in the van. That lead to a complete lack of understanding by "dispatcher" to work out a solution to the parking issue with the fire department across the street, horrible phone-in automated answering system phone-in service. Ask for a written estimate up front. They charged us $1,385 for a very small project in our basement that took two guys 26 minutes. They told me 3 weeks after the fact when they sent the invoice that there is a 4 hour minimum which was never communicated to us beforehand and they can't point to any pricing on their website or in their contract that indicates a 4 hour minimum. While the individuals who came to clean the couch were professional and nice, we did not have a good experience overall. COIT had to come three times to clean our couch and attempt to fix the cleaning from the previous first cleaning. At one point someone came to just wipe it with a towel, which definitely did nothing.
