Coit sent a service man to my home a little over a year ago to clean my living room carpet and since I assumed that he was vetted and bonded, I did not follow him around the hall corner to where the carpet ended just outside my master bedroom. With the cleaning machine running, I did not hear him go into the bedroom (for no reason as he was not there to clean the carpet in that room) and then he was paid and left my home. TERRIBLE. If I could rate zero stars I would. Made an appointment weeks in advance. Was given a window of time 11:30-1:30 and despite me making repeated calls for updates (no one ever proactively called me) and being told someone was on their way, no one ever showed up to do the service. I called again to explain that I had to leave my home, was treated incredibly rudely, and was hung up on twice(?!). How are their customer care representatives trained to help customers? The duct cleaning at our house cost $719. There was one man there for a little over 2 hours. I thought that was highway robbery. They charge buy the number of ducts not the time involved. Go elsewhere.

Long story short, it seems as if their office people do not communicate with each other. I tried to get my dryer exhaust vent cleaned. It took two failed scheduling attempts and a conversation when an unhelpful agent to finally give up and call another company.

Coit Cleaners cleaned my drapes. The drapes came back with a strong chemical smell that has not abated in months. I called Coit and left "Steve" a message but he never returned my call. I wanted to know what chemicals they used to clean my drapes. I'm worried that the chemicals may be bad for my health. I'm still trying to get the smell out of my house. I wouldn't recommend this cleaner.

I would rate a negative 5 if I could.Had a quote today for hardwood floor cleaning. Small townhouse living room, stair case and loft, (floors are only 3 years old and in great shape). They will not move any furniture. Therefore cleaning around the furniture, quote came to $826.00 (including a 35% discount!) Really? You are out of your mind. No one with any brains would pay that price.

$465 to put scotch guard on a small sectional? And to clean and scotch guard it was the same price? No rhyme or reason to their prices. Just started calculating numbers. I'm guessing he just gets the additional amount that he can charge beyond a certain price. That was with 40% off. What a rip off. Definitely call another company. This is cleaning a couch. Not a high level task and so many companies can do this. Never will use again. Management - post fair and honest prices on your website. You clearly have lost a lot... read more

Yet another very disappointing experience with COIT. If half a star were an option, that's all I would give them. From not confirming appointment and showing up at a random time, to messing up the pick up dates of our rugs numerous times, to taking 21 days to bring them back (instead of the 7-10 days), and having to call them to ask where our rugs were, to then receiving our rugs outside of the delivery window and finding that they weren't even cleaned! I had a appt last Saturday 9/7 and they waited until 2pm to notify me that they were not coming because someone called in sick. I rescheduled for today 9/14 with the promise of a 40% discount to have a sofa cleaned and my hardwood floors.
