This place is pretty awful. I was ordering my cats joint supplement through them online. They denied my last order because he hasn't been in for 12 months. No prior communication, no heads up. I just received a rejection email from the pharmacy a day after I ordered it. And of course since we're in a Pandemic, I can't get him in anytime soon. So my cats medical professionals are taking away his medication, and leaving him to suffer, instead of calling and letting us know that he required an appointment to keep getting his jo... read more

I took my dog in after hours for bloody stool and they wanted to do X-rays and blood work said they would run about $600. I ask to start with just blood work and we can go from there. After blood work is done they are ok with sending him home no X-rays. The bill came to $585 no X-rays! I am just baffled that the quote with X-rays was only $15 more than with out.

I took my black labs here for years because I really like the vets. However, they overcharge you for the services that they provide and are constantly recommending tests, shots that are unnecessary. Sure, I'm a sucker, I should just say no when they recommended this or that test or ear / teeth cleaning. I never left with a bill less than $500. The last visit was such a bad experience that I feel compelled to warn others. I found a tick the day before a scheduled visit so I asked them to take it out, they told me they took t... read more

DON"T GO HERE! All about money. Didn't feel like the vet or the tech liked their jobs or cared for my animal. Presented me with 2 options, leaving me to think I had no choice but to put him down, only to up-sell another option at the last minute! Dr. Hookam and tech Brittany treated my cat and I terribly and I am so thankful I didn't lose him due to their incompetence! Very shady business practice! On a Sunday when you feel as if their are no other options, go to Northside Emergency Pet Clinic! Five minutes away from this pl... read more

Tried to bring my dog in after getting into a fight with another dog and he was bleeding from his neck and ear we were told 45 minute wait and we sat in the parking lot a hour and a half before calling again and being told it's 3 more hours and there's 5 people ahead of me when there was 2 cars in the parking lot when I showed up.

I had a bad experience at this place many years ago but I thought I would give it another try because they estimated a couple hundred dollars cheaper than Caring Hands after my dog cut his paw and needed stitches. Right now because of COVID 19, customers call when they get there and the vet comes out to the car. So I never got to see the stitches or anything. Our dog pulled the bandage off one morning and we watched him constantly until we brought him in within a few hours to the next available appt. They said it was inf... read more

OMG! I have been a long time customer here and have had a few issues before; however, today takes the cake. I brought in my sick dog for an ER visit and as usual, the first thing they do is take your credit card for the ER visit that cost $92. This is their standard procedure, it's happened to me before and while sitting waiting I can hear them tell everyone who calls that it's going to cost $92 for an ER visit. No problem whatever. After waiting two hours to see the vet, we check out and get charged the $92 AGAIN!! Of ... read more

I was told to schedule an appointment for a vaccine that my dog had already received. The technicians don't seem to know how to open the right files. They do not properly communicate information to their Clients.

Took our puppy in for a follow up vaccine visit. We arrived 10 minutes early for our 1pm appointment and wasn't taking back for 30 minutes. The technician wasn't reading the right file and my dog was almost over vaccinated. I reached out to solve this problem and was told "sorry they had poor communication". Welp I really hope they don't have poor communication skills in the operating room. It pretty sad when I interact with three people including a doctor, and they cannot convey a messages to their clients. I will be tran... read more
