Without an appointment it automatically cost you $90 to bring your dog or cat here. Even with an appointment there still a 30 to 45 minute wait. I brought my dogs here for a while until I figured out that there were other places that worked harder to be amazing to my animals. The Staff is nice but tends to get frustrated when there is more than 1 animal there.
The service from Community Pet Hospital has been poor over this last year. Ultra sound records will incorrectly sent to the Fort Collins Veterinary teaching hospital, discharge records got interchanged with another dog, so what was sent home with us was for the incorrect dog, When our dog was so sick we need to euthanize our beloved dog a brief explanation was given by the vet. I use to really like this vet but I took my cat in recently to get her kidneys rechecked since she is in early stages of kidney disease and has lost a lot of weight recently. I took her in they did a check up and took blood work and told me they would call me in a few days. 3 days passed so I called them to find out what the blood work said only to find out the test results are in but Dr isnt and won't be back or even calling until a full WEEK after the appointment. Horrible place to take a sick animal. Our puppy had megasophagus, he suddenly fell very ill. He was throwing up blood all day. I took him in because I knew he wasn't gonna make it. He threw up blood all over the exam room in front of the Dr They wanted to do blood work and xrays. I didn't feel that would change anything. He needed to be put down. This is the worst place to take your pet. They don't care about your pet, the only thing they care about is your money. I took my cat there because he had a blockage and they sent him home the next day and he was lethargic and worse than when I took him in. So I had to take him back in and they charged me more money after they should have never sent home home in the first place. After this whole order I ended up paying close to $2000. i will not ever reurn here i took my dog here on 03/09/2028 and all the vet did was listen to her heart an charged me a 100 bucks i contacted them the next day to tell them my dog was not any better an they told me to bring her in and they knew i was on my way there they made me wait over 2 hours in the car and i was not very far away when they called me that they were ready to see my dog so i went back they told me 15 to 20 min wait then the vet nurse came out an told me it would be at least a hour wait i was there all read... read more
If I could give a 0 star for this vet I would. I would NEVER send someone with their loved pet to this veterinary clinic. Please, please if you are reading this take your pet and go far away from this place. The receptionists, vet techs, and vets have no sympathy or compassion towards their clients and pets. They do not have the best interest of animals in mind. They do not act with professionalism and allow personal opinions to cloud what is overall right for the owner and their pets. DO NOT use this hospital. Very sad tragedy due to poor decisions, mis-diagnosis and lies.....not one thing that several of the Drs at this clinic diagnosed proved to be correct..Took my 5 mo. old kitten in on a Sunday....she was not feeling well from a upper respiratory infection. She died on Wednesday. Everything they told me was in-correct. Dr Riddle was convinced she had an obstruction, proceeded to convince me that a surgery was the best thing to do. I took my dog to Community, sent there because my vet was closed on Saturday. My dog was having issues with his mouth looks like swelling not drinking not eating and drooling excessively. They did bloodwork they did x-rays gave him anabiotic's and fluids and sent us home. Could not really give us a diagnosis. Told me if he did not get better that I would have to take him to a specialist. Three days later he wasn't any better.
