Good Tool for Email Marketing Pros A great alternative to Mailchimp. Has roughly the same amount of features and is just as easy to set up and use. Cons As with most heavily-feature packed software, it's easy to get lost and things can get a little clunky to use (template editing, segmenting, etc)

Constant Contact is great for small to medium size businesses. Pros Constant Contact is easy to use and provides really great templates. If you aren't someone who knows how to code and is looking for a drag-and-drop editor, this is the tool for you. You can even pay to have their team design a custom template for you. Importing contacts is easy to manage, and they offer a few integrations, like with WordPress and Google Analytics. I use this to send emails, meetings, events, surveys, and newsletters to multiple mailing lists. Pros My favorite thing about the software is the tracking within it. I can see exactly when someone opened the email, how many times they opened the email, and what they clicked on (if there's any clickable links) in the email. Another nice feature is the fact that you can add images and save them and design your own templates and save them, too. It's nice that you can schedule emails to go out ahead of time, too. I used this to drive ticket sales for a musical Pros The design templates are nice and it is relatively easy to put emails together. User-friendly and fun to use. Cons N/A. I personally didn't try myself, but I wonder how complicated it is to upload mailing lists to Constant Contact.

Not Impressed Pros Constant Contact has a drag and drop design feature to make it easy for beginners to create their own emails. It also integrates with several other apps very well. Cons The interface is very clunky. It needs a major update, especially when other email marketing services have beautiful, intuitive interfaces. I also think the design capabilities for the drag and drop tool are very limited and rarely look very good.

This is a great program for email blasts Pros It is easy to sent out emails to multiple addresses at one time. It is simple to upload many email addresses at one time. Cons We have many users and many email lists, wish there was an easier way sort the email lists once there are uploaded.

A decent email marketing option, but a ways to go until they're the best. Pros It's fairly simple to use. When it comes to accomplishing the general goal of marketing via email without any coding knowledge, it does the trick. Cons Templates aren't very impressive. Other options (MailChimp, etc.) offer a much more user-intuitive, fun design experience.

If your large mailing list needs to receive complex emails, then this could be ideal for you. Pros -I like being able to organize my mailing list and this software gives me so many options to do so. -It's easy to import contacts into list. -Once you get the hang of it, you can easily make very creative emails. -You can schedule your emails as well. Newsletter Software Pros I use Constant Contact for building and distributing our company newsletter. The site is very user friendly when it comes to picking a template, etc. Cons No complaints here- I'm very happy with the functionality of this product and the ease of setting up our newsletter and importing email addresses.
