Ceiling fell, toilet broke, heat broke, fridge door fell off, and bathtub peeled. Ceiling repairs began 3 days later. Still in progress for the next week, lost access to part of the apartment, no privacy, and have to wear shoes throughout the apartment. Response was “apologies” and contact your private insurance if you want anything more.

Avoid them like the plague!!! This is just a huge property management company that wants your money but does not provide the services they promise. I went with them based on Google reviews so be sure to read the negative ones too because they most definitely will happen to you. Over the summer we basically lived without AC and had service techs come "fix it" at least 7 times. I am a current tenant at that Jack Kerouac building located at 1260 Sherman St, Denver, Co 80203. Managed by Cornerstone Apartments. I would not recommend anybody renting from this rental agency. They will lie to you concerning utility costs, they will lie to concerning the security of the premises, especially concerning the homeless having access to the premises. Cornerstone is a joke. Most of these reviews are fake. Apparently, the owner gives $50 for every five-star review. Of course, that would promote A LOT of fake reviews. I wonder if that's why names are mentioned in most of the 5-star reviews? I vote yes. I also heard that the owners son was forced to work as a manager and he destroyed a lot of the business. Repeated Maitnence and Building Security problems. The Apartment was beautiful, but maybe because it was a new building there were repeated problems with the front door and the building manager. The door was constantly broken or jammed. Then because it didn't shut properly at the time the Denver Homeless population took advantage, and while I have no issue with the homeless looking for somewhere warm to sleep, the continuous hassle was real. Hi Marina, I'm sorry to see your review. I understand your frustration with the front door at your building. Due to your building being brand new, we had to work with a third party to repair the door since it was under warranty. This delayed the process but we did our best to communicate these issues and updates of the project. We are installing a keyless entry system this week which will help eliminate issues with the door as well as provide an extra level of security for entry to the building. Avoid Cornerstone- have lived here and now friends live at other cornerstone apartments and all the same. Security issues are horrible. People have had key access to our buildings (by theft) making it unsafe. I have seen people walk around who do not live in the building have full access and nothing is done about it. Nobody addresses it. Packages being stolen all year long. Personnel does not care. Have had hot water turned off for 3 days at a time and nobody works on it as a priority. If I could give no stars, I would. I've lived in a Cornerstone property for almost 6 months. I pay my rent on time; never late, I have no issues with my neighbors, and I've been pretty proactive with questions or concerns if I have them. I live on the first floor, street level. I completely understood the fact that there would be foot traffic, however there is a gate to the driveway that has been CROWBARRED open so it can't ever be shut, trash flies all over the driveway from the dumpsters (that have cockroaches all over ... read more
