Maintenance is poor. There was an intermittent leak in the ceiling lobby of my building above the stairs that had been going on for six months when I moved out. It would regularly saturate the carpet. I had drain issues that were slow to be fixed as well in my apartment. Heating issues as well. And when I moved out they changed me 100 bucks for two regular sized plastic window blinds and thirty five dollars for "touch-up" paint. Additionally, their maintenance guys actually solicit five stars reviews as they get 50 bucks ... read more
Noah, our maintenance rep that came by today for repairs, was awesome! Super nice, professional, and offered kind conversation. Thanks!
Our portfolio managers, Michael and his assistant, Hannah, have been so kind and helpful to me since living in one of the units they manage from Sept. 2020 until now (Feb 2021). So much so that I hope to continue renting the unit through them for another year and looking forward to helping them any way I can! Thank you, Cornerstone!

Thank you for the review, Drew! - Alex
NO HEAT, no response from management. Horrible building conditions at the Sylvia Mae in Denver.
I called these guys 3 times about property management services. 3 times I was transferred to the same guys where I left a message and requested a call back. I am still waiting 6 months later.,....
Business response:
Hi Joe, I'm sorry to see your review and I apologize if your messages were not directed correctly. Our owner reached out on Friday after we received your review. Please reach out to him if you are still interested in management services. Sincerely, Calley
Be warned they will try to charge you for ridiculous expenses when you move out and subtract from your deposit. I moved out and took all of my furniture with me. When my deposit refund arrived, I was charged for furniture that someone dumped in the parking lot of the building. No proof, no video evidence, just charged me for someone else dumping furniture in a parking lot accessible by the general public. The owner of Cornerstone must be wildly unethical if this is how they're making extra income during Covid.
I do not recommend E14 apartments (1114 E 14th Ave). Don’t be fooled by the brand new building and nice layout designs (or high rent prices for that matter). These apartments are not “condo-grade” concrete build, and actually have extremely thin walls. You can basically hear your neighbors’ entire conversations. As such, there are a lot of moments where neighbors are yelling at each other to be quiet even when you are doing something as simple as watching tv. Aside from that, if you don’t already know, the location in Cap ... read more

Hi Alicia, I'm sorry to hear about your experience living in Capitol Hill. E14 is one of the only new construction buildings in the area, and offers amenities like in unit laundry and off street parking which is a great perk. There was a homeless camp at the middle school down 14th but this has since been removed. This is a high traffic area near Colfax which provides many great restaurants and music venues. It sounds like the location is not the best fit for you and we hope you find something that better fits your needs in ... read more
We lived in 1522 NLafayette Street had problems with mice, electricity going out and since the fuse box was in the basement and locked you had to wait until someone came, we did not overload the electricity as it usually happened late at night. Packages were constantly stolen and someone pooped in the laundry room and it took them 3 days to clean it and they did nothing about it
Business response:
Sharon, I am sorry to hear you had these experiences. Unfortunately, the breakers for your electricity are located in the basement of the building. We do consider this an emergency and will reset it at any time of the day or night. However, most of our techs do live roughly 30-40 minutes from the building so if this is after hours it does take some time for them to get there. I spoke to the former Manager about the package theft issue which has been resolved and we haven't had a reported stolen package there since I have been... read more
It's been 60° in apartment for the past 2 days and I have received multiple emails on how they refuse to turn the heat on. I have a tiny apartment and I'm not sure why I am paying as much as I am without basic heating and cooling. Also took a month to fix my air conditioner.
