In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. Wow! Just wow! Delicious to last bite and very filling! Should have taken a picture of the before and after, but trust and believe it was inviting. Will definitely have to return for more of the choices which was a chore but not grievous.

I love Black Bear Diner! We go to the one in Buena Park, CA. Always good service, friendly and smiling staff. The food is always hot, and just as ordered. I even got a free breakfast on my birthday! I love the breakfasts, and my one friend loves spaghetti and meatballs or the chicken fried steak. I've even taken my young grand sons there, and they were catered to by the staff and loved the food.
